Liliana's P.O.V

I felt someone nudge my arm making me turn around. My 24-year-old brother pointed at my earphones so I could take them off.

"What's up?" I asked.

"We're about to land so you need to turn your phone off," he said.

"Okay," I answered, putting my earphones in my carry on.

"You excited about seeing Jen?" Aaron asked.

Jennifer was our 20-year-old sister who lived in Miami, Florida far from our home in Atlanta, Georgia. We were going to spend Thanksgiving with her, since she had to do something for college.

"Yeah, it's sad that mom and dad couldn't come though," I told him.

"True but they had to care for Nana. We'll Skype with them on Thanksgiving Lil, so they'll still be there," Aaron said, wrapping his arm around me.

The plane began to descend until we were completely on the ground. I followed Aaron out of the plane to get our luggage. My phone vibrated in my hand as we walked through the airport.

Big Sis 👸🏻💜 - Lil, where are you?

Me - Just got our luggage. Where are you?

Big Sis 👸🏻💜- The only person with a sign that says 'My big bro & little sis' ;)

"Jen says she's holding a sign that says-" I began to say but Aaron interrupted me.

"My big bro and little sis?" he asked, pointing forward.

I looked up to see my older sister smiling while holding a sign. She ran towards us, wrapping her arms around me first.

"I missed you Lil," she said.

"I missed you too Jen," I replied.

"And I missed you too A," Jennifer said, hugging Aaron.

"Missed you too little sis," he said, hugging her and picking her up.

"Come on, car's parked outside," Jennifer said while taking my duffle bag.

Her gray Corolla 2014 was parked close by so we didn't walk a lot. We put our stuff in the trunk before getting in. Aaron drove, Jen sat in the passenger's seat while I sat in the back.

"So Lily how's school?" Jennifer asked.

"Stressful, but I'm glad I got one more year to go," I answered, looking out at the beach.

When we left Atlanta, it was snowing over there. Here, the sun was burning out and there were people in shorts.

"Enjoy high school while you can, Lil. College is pretty stressful," Jennifer chuckled.

"So I've heard," I said, referring to Aaron's constant complaints when he was in college.

"Hey!" Aaron whined, knowing I was talking about him.

"Love you, A," I told him.

"'course you do, Lil," Aaron smirked.

"So Lil, how about we drop Aaron and all your stuff at my apartment, then we go to Wal-Mart to buy the food for Thanksgiving?" Jennifer suggested.

"Sounds good," I agreed.

We arrived at Jen's apartment ten minutes later since it wasn't that far from the airport. Her apartment had two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and any other utilities she needed. It was pretty cute, decorated to Jennifer's style, which included reds, blacks, and whites around the whole apartment.
