Thomas:
I was sitting in a chair by the medical lab door. I was a wreck. Kate, the secret love of my existence, might have died, but they're doing an operation to try and revive her, but if it doesn't, I will kill myself. I'm already dead mentally and emotionally, might as well be physically too. Just then, the lab door opened up to reveal Chancelor Ava Paige. I jumped out of my chair and walked to her. "Well, how did the operation go? Is Kate okay?" I asked, my voice shaky. "I'm sorry Thomas, but I'm afraid there will be no second chances for Kate. She died". Those were the worst words that could ever be spoken. "We will have a funeral tomorrow morning, and I expect you to be there, Thomas. Please don't be stupid. Your all we have left of our little project with the maze and such. Kate would want you to move on. You and I both know that. Now, go to your room, and please tidy yourself up, your dirtier than a crank", said Ava Paige, and with that, was gone.

The Next day At Kate's Funeral:
Kate looked beautiful in her dress. It was a turquoise blue dress that reached her knees. She was wearing grey flats, lip gloss, and blue eyeshadow. Her hair was brushed nicely. I would have stared at her like a dog staring at a juicy piece of meat, but all I could see were tears. I was seated, waiting for them to close her casket and lower her into the ground. "Would anybody like to share a few words?" Asked Ava Paige. She looked around. Her eyes landed on me. "Thomas", she called me out. "Surely you have some words to share". "As a matter of fact," I said, walking up to the front of the stage, "I do". Kate was a beautiful person who was loved by all. She was kind, caring, funny, smart, generous, strong, and brave. She would die for her friends, like she did for me. If she wouldn't have pushed me out of the way, I would be the one in that casket. Kate is a hero, my hero to be exact. I loved that girl more than anyone knows. She was the light of my world, but now, I guess she burned out. But she will always live in my heart.

By now, everyone was in tears, even Chacelor Paige, myself included. "Well, that was lovely. Okay, close the lid!" She called. A few guards closed her lid, locked it up, and began to lower it into the ground. I watched, to absorbed in my tears and sadness to say anything. Pretty soon, they filled in her hole, and had flowers put in. In just a few minutes, her grave was done. Everyone went back in, until it was just me.

"Goodbye Kate, my love," I said aloud, to no one in particular. It had only been a few minutes, but felt like a few centuries. I couldn't live like this. Not without Kate. So, I wasn't going to live at all. "Hang on Katie, I whispered to the grave, I'm coming".

Yeah, chapter three is complete. I am going to try and finish one chapter a day, to make more chapters faster. As always, I love you all, stay beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
