Chapter 6- Forgetting Kate and Entering the maze

Thomas:
I was taken to the lab, where they take your memories and put you into the maze. I was scared. I didn't want to forget about Kate, or anything else for that matter. I was layed on a metal bed, where the lab doctor was getting the tranquilizer needle and serum ready. The needle is filled with a medicine that makes you sleep for three days, no more, no less. Just enough time to take your memories, do operation on your brain so they can watch and control you, and put you into the box that goes up to the maze.

"Well, Thomas, this is it. Shame. You will be missed. Any last words before it all ends?" Asked the doctor with a sad look on her face. "Why bother, when I won't be able to rember them anyway", I told her, anger laced in my voice. "Well, then in that case, let me see your arm. I promise, it will be quick and painless". I rolled up my shirt sleeve and gave her my arm. "Kate, I love you I love you I love you," I mumbled to myself as the needle pierced my skin.

I could feel the serum flowing into my arm, to begin it's work at putting me to sleep. When it was all out, she disposed of the needle. I pulled my sleeve back down over my arm. I was starting to feel drowsy. My body began to tingle with numbness, and my vision was slipping. "Kate,  Kate, Kate..... I murmured as I passed out, and said goodbye to my beloved memories and my beloved Kate.

I woke up in a dark, moving metal box. The box was moving at an alarming rate. It was pitch black, and I couldn't remember a thing. Why am I here? Why can't I remember anything? Who am I? Who put me here? Where am I going? What will happen to me? A million thoughts raced through my mind as fast as this box was moving, and that was pretty fast.

The box started to slow down, then came to a complete halt. An alarm blared. The doors began to open, and bright sunlight poured in. I squinted, and saw the forms of many unfamiliar faces. "Look at the guy, looks like clunk, I think he clunked his pants, definitely a slopper," and more voices that mixed with others. I tall guy with honey blond hair, green eyes, and freckles on his chubby face jumped down into the box. It startled me. "Day one Greenie, rise and shine."

Hey guys, chapter six is complete. Sorry I didn't do a chapter yesterday, my sides ache really bad, and I have a bad headache. On Sunday, we were at my mom's dad's house for a cookout. We were riding three wheelers when the cart my brother and I were in tipped over. My brother, James, broke his collar bone. I hit my head very hard, so I'm going into the doctor today to get checked out. I'll try and right another chapter some time today, but I can't make any promises. Wish me the best of luck!
