The Irresistible Nerd

I promise

it have been a week since I've been to the party, sitting in the popular circle table every lunch is nice, but it feels like not me, you know, I used to sit alone in the cafeteria, of probably not eating, and read a book in the library, I guess, I need to get used to it.

Brrr... Why is it so cold it's just another Thursday in September, I got up from my bed, do my morning routine, I wear my red polo shirt, and a short pants, that is just above the knee, just a casual look, as always, I decided to take the school bus, since no one is there to bring me to school, Jake and Taylor is probably going to be late for school, they had a really late practice yesterday.

School, that means being with the popular kids, I put away my stuff that I don't need for my 1st class, and took my Biology book, and went to class. where's Jake? he suppose to be here, right ? I thought to myself.

Finally on the third period, I saw Jake sitting in the front, and Tay sat behind me, each have a frown on their face, Tay had a black eye in his face, I tilted my body and faced Tay,

"What happened ?" I asked in concerned, Tay just shook his head, uh oh, i know that look, better leave him some space, I turned my body to face the chalkboard, I'm going to ask Jake, I must ask him.

Lunch ! time goes by so fast, I took a sit between Malory and Jake, and across Tay, I don't dare to look at Taylor in the face, I might get in trouble, if I do,

"Jake, Can we talk?" I looked to Jake, He nodded, Taylor glared at me, but I ignore him, and Jake got up the same time as me, we went to the parking lot,

"What happened between you and Taylor?" I asked, looking straight to his eyes,

"Nothing happened, okay?" he yelled at me, not wanting to face him, whoa didn't see that coming,

"Uh huh, if nothing didn't happened, they why are you yelling at me?" I looked back to his eyes, he stayed quite, "Just what I thougt," I walked away from him, after a few steps, I heard Jake called my name, I turned my face,

"Can you see it, Boo? Taylor is in love with you, and so do I, we fight over you," OMG not it couldn't be, Tay and Jake could not be falling for me, no way, "Boo?" I shook my head, going back to reality,

"Um sorry, got zoned out, you can't love me, I'm only a nerd, who suddenly hangs out with the IT crowd, I'm not even your type, Jake," I started to feel tears,

"There is where you got it wrong, Boo, I started falling for you, since the day we met in the bus, you look so stunning, you are my type," he took my hand to his chest, "You are the one for me, Tay also is falling for you, you don't noticed it didn't you ?" I shook my head, "You are irresistible, Boo, you are just being yourselves, and I like that, I like you, no," he shook his hand, and look straight into my eyes, "I love you."

No way, not happening, the bad boy in our school, confessed? no this is just a dream, and how can Taylor like me? I need to talk to Taylor.

"No, you can't do this to me, Jake, I know in the end you will hurt me, then you leave me, ugh, I don't know why I'm feeling like this, I'm sorry," I walk away, what I forget, he is still holding my hand, he pulled me, 

"I promise, I will not hurt and leave you," I let a smile take over my frown, "Will you be my girlfriend ?"
