"Oh my god, is it sexy time already?! Let me get in on this!!"
Pok, smushed his chubby face in between Iverliss and Evv so they were both kissing his checks.
"I feel loved." He stated as both backed away, blushing akwardly.
"Pok! I told you guys not to come in here!" Iverliis grunted behind gritted teeth.
Pok carelessly shrugged. "Well you told us not to, so clearly we had too." Reiz came in using the only logic he's ever known.
"I told them it was a bad idea, but seeing what you were trying to do I guess it really wasn't." Moon added coming in behind Reiz.
Iverliis's face flushed bright red as he scratched the back of his head. "Haha...well..."
Fortunately for the magician, Pok, who had thought there was something different about Evv but wasn't so sure, finally found out what was missing.
"EVV! YOU'RE NOT WEARING YOUR MASK!!" He exclaimed like it was the biggest deal in the world. All eyes were on her.
She seemed scared at first but then gave them squinty eyes and a real smile. She was still awkward, but she knew it would take some getting used to.
"Yeah, I guess I dont need it much anymore."The boy's stared at her in awe, her smile was so true and genuine....
"You're so cute!!!" They all flustered over her which made her blush and smile even more.
No guy ever flustered over her, for Evv, this was a dream come true.
Her eyes suddenly went wide with concern as she realized one of the guys were missing.
"Wait...where's Xerxis..?"
Of course it was Xerxis. The mystery man of the hour.
The rest of the guys looked around in panic. "Knowing, Xerxis, this is most likely normal, but still odd..." Iverliis admitted.
"Don't be concerned, I'm right over here." Xerxis voice echoed in annoyance as the lights flickered on. They were in a large ball room, Xerxis was standing near a fancy velvet set of doors.
"I believe this is your escape Evvelyyn," He gestured towards the doors but Evv remained in place and silent. "Isnt that what you wanted, to leave?"
Evv hesitated, waiting for someone to plead her not to go, or maybe threaten to kill her again, anything! But nothing happened, and no one dared to speak against her will.
She looked over at the rest of the guys, they were all looking down or fiddling with their hair. Even Iverliis wouldn't dare to look at her.
Evv indecisively followed the maroon carpet as she approached the wooden doors. She reached for the shiny steel handle when something suddenly stopped her.
She wasn't unsure anymore.
She wasn't wearing her mask.
And She knew exactly what she had to do."No," Her voice echoed across the ballroom and everyone looked up eagerly.
"No," She repeated. "This is all wrong."
"You did say you wanted to leave didn't you?" Xerxis pointed out.
"Yes, but that's only because I was scared. I know you guys aren't monsters but I was being too quick too judge and quite frankly, let my imagination get the best of me. I was so scared of making true contact, and I was scared if my mask cracking..."
"All this time I wanted to go back home, but I remember now that I never really felt at home there. I feel at home with you guys. I feel like I belong with the freaks." She smiled walking away from the doors.
"So, you're staying?" Reiz asked happily.
"Hell yeah I am!"
Everyone cheered as balloons and confetti were released in the air. The guys all gathered around her for a giant hug. Evv didn't know where they really came from, but she was sure that wasn't the weirdest thing that had ever happened to her,
And it definitely wouldn't be the last.
Hm, Evv is safe from me when she's with her little friends, but she can't keep running from me forever.
In a few days, I'll be strong enough to bring her to the pits of hell, and make her mine.
It's only a matter of time, before the demons will have their ultimate victory...
