Imani's Pov I woke up this morning and I feel so good. However I didn't wanna leave the bed with Aug. He had me all comfortable in there, but I have breakfast with the girls. We decided on going to IHOP this morning. I wanted some pancakes anyway. So I'm walking into IHOP and there they were.
Me: Hey yall. Raven: Keri are you seeing what I'm seeing? Keri: Yeah. This girl is glowing. Raven: What's happened to you in the last 24 hours? Me: I had a date with bae. Raven: Who? Me: August. He cooked me this amazing dinner last night. Then he just spoiled me like I was some kind of queen. Keri: Mhmm. What else happened? Me: Nothing like that. We just cuddled and kissed a lot. Keri: Mhmm. Me: I'm forreal. Raven: I believe there's more. Me: He stayed the night. I was so comfortable wrapped in his arms. I didn't feel like getting out of bed this morning. Keri: Raven do you see this? Raven: You know that song too? Keri: I sure do. Them: (sings) Mani's got a boyfriend. Mani's got a boyfriend. Me: Oh my gosh. Yall are so childish. Them: Mani's got a boyfriend. Me: I can't with yall. We ate and then I went to work.
Later.........Imani's Pov My client won. That means I don't have anymore court dates. That means more time with bae. And speaking of bae, here he is calling me. Me: Hello? August: Hey. How did the case go? Me: I won! August: That's great. Me: How are you babe? August: I'm great. Are you ready to go? Me: I need to change my clothes. August: Alright then I'll meet you at your house. Me: Alright.

August's Pov When I got to her house, she was ready to go, so we left. She even brought a duffle bag with her stuff in it. She might as well. I'm not letting her leave tonight. Right now we're on the road. I've got one hand on the wheel and the other one is holding her hand. Imani: Where are we going? Me: You'll see. I'm taking her to this party with me. Imani: But Baby. Me: You'll see. I kiss her hand. Imani: Okay. We pulled up to the party and got out the car. Me: I hope you're alright with a party. Imani: Yes I'm alright with it. Me: Alright c'mon. We walked in and there were the guys. Trey: Look at who it is. Chris: August and Imani. Imani: Hey yall. Trey: Wassup Mani. Imani: I'm just chillin with bae. She looked at me and I pecked her lips. Trey: Dang. Me: What? Trey: How much begging did you do? Me: A lot. Chris: Damn. Mani you have him begging? Me: She knows that she does. I even cook for her. Trey: Cooking what? Ramen? Me: No. I made pot roast, rice, and vegetables. Imani: And it was really good. Trey: Damn. He won't cook for anybody but himself most of the time. Imani: Why you gotta be like that Aug? Me: Because they can cook their own food and I only wanna cook for you. Imani: You're always spoiling me. Me: That's my job. Imani: Mhmm. Next time I will be cooking. Me: Alright. Imani: Okay. Trey: this is so mushy. Me: Whatever. I can't wait for our next date.
