My name is Alyssa Thomas and I'm an surviver of both Capture The Flag and The Flame Torch Winter Games. I have created The Games making my friends lives miserable and there memories taken from them. My memories came back to me, and I don't know how to feel? Myself, Tyler and Erick have escaped from Elizabeth Winter's grasp. And we are now flying to Lighten City to find my brother. And there is a high chance that I'll see my friends again; including Aris. And this time, this isn't a Game...this is an actual Death Sentence.
-----------------------
I sat down next to Tyler as silence filled the air. We were flying over to Lighten City to find my brother. Yet I don't remember anything about him, the thing that I can remember is only a light and a bright smile basically. But he is at Lighten City Hotel in room 3691. How do I know that? Because I over heard Winter saying it. And now I want to find him before Winter gets there first.
I started wondering about my past life? Well since I remember but not clearly yet, it's like I need a trigger to gain a memory back or something? And I wanted to know, and maybe get the time flying and get to know Tyler better.
"So Tyler? What was I like before I was in The Games?" I asked him curiously as he hummed and turned his head to face me. He had snapped out of daydreaming and looked at me confusing.
"What? Oh! What you were like before The Games? Uhm..." He was quiet as my eyes widen. I knew that look anywhere, but I don't know him but I knew that when he does that look someone or himself did something bad? I sighed.
"Was I that bad?" I asked him making sure. He shook his head with disagreement. I lifted a brow as confusion washed through my mind. He was confusing me.
"What? No no no! You were smart, nice but...sometimes you could be a...how can I say it because I don't want to offend you buuuuut you were...a bitch...a-and a-a-uh...a slut...please don't hurt me." In the end of the sentence he said it a bit to quickly as he raised his hands in defence. My eyes widen in shock as I taken back.
"Bitch? Slut? Really!...wow!" I said as I leaned back against the seat as I tried to take the sentence in. I nodded as I slowly turned my head to him. He gave me an apologetic smile.
"Yeah...sorry but it's true...you would wear sluty clothes and especially short skirts! You were like daddy's little girl, you would tell everyone to piss off of out of your seat at school. And you would only date the hottest guys...thats where Joshua Arthur comes in. And I was lucky enough to be your friend...well since we met in kindergarten. And the teachers oh wow that was funny...I remember you snapped at Mr Handsberg because you didn't feel like doing work. And you snapped at the cafeteria ladies because they have given you gross food that looks like that it's been barfed out. Yeah you were a poppy girl that was a trouble maker. Making all the boys fall over heels for you. But at times you were really smart and sweet." Tyler wonders off as my eyes widen. I was that bad! What the hell! What happened? I stayed silent for awhile as I tried to process this in my mind as I repeated the words again.
"Seriously! What the hell happened then?" I asked curiously as he shrugs. I guess that we doesn't know either? But I still ask.
"Maybe The Games changed you? Because well you are certainly well changed! Not in a bad way I-I know that. I-I like y-you th-the way y-you a-are. A-and I-I-I'm still y-y-your f-f-friend n-no matter what..." Tyler says nervously as he scratched the back of his neck. I smiled at him warmly as he blushed.
"Well, Tyler, I have changed most certainly. And thank goodness I have or I would kill myself!" I admit as I laughed. He chuckles at me as he looks at me with hope and wonder.
"I-I'm glad that you changed..." He says suddenly as I looked at him and smile at him. His cheeks grow warm as I looked into his eyes.
"Me too!" I agreed to him. I was happy that I changed because if I didn't I would be dead already. But I couldn't believe that I was such a slut and a bitch. I never thought I would be one of those. But I guess that I was.
Silence had filled the jet once again as I watch the window and see the clouds and the desert ground underneath us. I watched the ground as it started to remind me of when we were in the helicopter when we were saved by Nevax.
---------------------------
"Guys! We're here!" Erick shouts out from the control room. I got up and looked out of the window to see that he was correct. We have arrived at Lighten City.
----------------------------
Once we find a place to land near Lighten City Hotel he landed the jet, and making me and Tyler hold onto a bar so we can hold onto it. The lift had opened as it landed onto the hard surface ground. I had ran out of the jets lift as I was already on the ground. I was running in one spot as I waited for them to follow me.
"Come on!" I yelled as they finally came out of the lift. I was so excited to find my brother and to ask him questions. I saw Tyler and Erick walked out exhaustingly as I was pumped up and full of energy.
I ran over towards the hotel which looked like it would fall down any second. I was nervous and excited for this. I took a deep breath in as I looked up at the broken building. I then walked inside of the building.
-----------------------
I walked inside of the building to see that it was broken and old inside. I wasn't expecting my brother to live in a broken building whatsoever. But he's gotta live somewhere.
I walked up stairs and tried to find the right number. The floors didn't look that fancy. The floor was a wooden with a rotten carpet with stains on it and rips. Creaking sounds were loud enough to hear.
It smelt like someone had died in here. I felt disgusted by the smell and it stunk. The smell was making me want to vomit with my stomach turning and twisting.
I found the number that had said 3691 on it. I was about to knock until my nerves washed all over me. I took a deep breath in as I washed all of my nerves away. I then knocked on the door. I waited until I heard the door being unlocked and being opened.
My eyes widen in shock and disbelief. This couldn't be my brother! No no no! But it couldn't be him! He was dead! I was certainly sure!
It was Will himself.
