Chapter 16

Adam and Teigan woke up and saw Zara fast asleep in her bassinet (baby's bed) next to teigans bed. Adam sat up and Teigan rested her head on his chest. "How are you feeling" Adam asked. "Slightly in pain but nothing to be worried about" Teigan said. Adam kissed the top of teigans head. "I'm so proud of you baby" Adam said. Ashley and Tommy came back holding teigans bag and Zara's. "Thankyou so much Ashley your amazing" Teigan said. "No worries that's what freinds are for right" Ashley said. Ashley kneeled down next to Zara's bassinet and stroked her head. "She's so beautiful" Ashley whispered. "Oh Adam I brought you some fresh clothes saves you leaving the hospital it your tuxedo" Tommy said. "Thanks tommy" Adam said. Tommy and Ashley stayed for a little longer then headed off home. "I'm going to get dressed Adam this hospital gown isn't the most comfortable clothing" Teigan said. "Shouldn't you wait a little while babe your in pain" Adam said. "Im fine Adam honestly" Teigan said. Teigan gave Adam a kiss. "I love you" Teigan said. "I love you too baby" Adam said. Teigan got off the bed slowly and took the bag with her clothes in and went into the bathroom. Teigan put on some comfy clothes and put her hair in a messy bun. She looked down and saw her wedding dress. She smiled to herself not only did she gain a beautiful daughter she gained an amazing husband all in the space of one day. Teigan adjusted her bun when she heard singing coming from the room. Teigan opened the bathroom door and saw Adam sitting on the corner of the bed with Zara in his arms and singing to her. Adam looked up and saw Teigan. "Wow babe your an amazing singer" Teigan said. "Thankyou babe" Adam said. Teigan sat on the bed next to Adam and the doctor came in. "How are you feeling Teigan?" The doctor asked. "Slightly in pain but other than that I feel amazing" Teigan said. The doctor smiled. "Well if your feeling fine to go home then your free to leave Zara is well and heathy and we have no concerns so you are both free to leave whenever" the doctor said. "Thankyou so much" Adam said. The doctor smiled nodded his head and left the room. Teigan held Zara and got her ready whilst Adam went into the bathroom to change into clean clothes. Adam came out and got the bags ready and Carried out teigans wedding dress and his tuxedo. Teigan put Zara in her baby car seat and carried it. "We ready to go" adam asked. Teigan nodded her head. Teigan and adam left the room signed out and went to the car which tommy kindly brought for them. Adam put the dress and tuxedo in the boot of the car and teigan strapped Zara in the back. Adam helped teigan into the car and got into it himself. Adam pulled out the car park and drove off. After about 15 minutes they arrived back at the apartment. "We are home Zara" teigan said. Teigan got Zara out and adam carried the bags and the dress and tuexdo. "Welcome to your home Zara lambert" adam said. Teigan smiled at adam and they all went inside. Adam put the bags down and put the dress and tuxedo away in the spare room. Teigan got Zara out of her chair. "You've had a big day miss lambert let's put you in your amazing room daddy done feed you then put you in your bed for you first night" teigan said. Teigan fed Zara and put her into her bed. Teigan kissed her head. "Goodnight my beautiful baby girl" teigan said. Teigan pulled the door too and went into hers and adams room. She sat on the bed and looked down at her wedding ring and smiled. She was so so happy but she was worried that if Zara found out about her past and would be ashamed of her. Adam came into the room. "You okay baby?" Adam asked. Adam sat next to teigan on the bed and put his arm around her waist. "It's just when Zara is older i don't want her to find out about my past and be ashamed of me and think I'm a terrible mom" teigan said. Teigan held back her tears but couldn't help but let one slip down her cheek. "She won't think your a terrible mom because your not she will know that her mommy is amazing and beautiful and a fighter" adam said. Adam wiped teigans tears and kissed her. Adam held teigans hand is his and kissed the back of it. "I promise she won't be ashamed" adam said. "Now come on let's go and check on our baby girl mrs lambert" teigan smiled and they went and checked on Zara. ❤️
