This is Madison Beer, who I see as Addison's best friend Brooke.

I had fallen into a deep sleep that night, caught in a dream of Ethan tutoring me.  In my dream, he was teaching me, but would occasionally look up and bite his lip.  He got closer and closer to me, until his face was right in front of mine.  I looked him in the eyes and leaned in.  And then I woke up.
Sighing, I threw my comforter off of me and put on some slippers that were right next to my bed.  I shuffled through my hallway and down the steps to find a note from my mom on the bottom of the bannister.  It read:  Addison, my patient needed an emergency surgery.  I had to go into the hospital super early.  I didn't have time to make you breakfast, but there is cereal in the cabinet.  Tonight, we can spend some time together.  Love you.  -Mom
I smiled at her kindness and threw the note in the trash.  My mom was so sweet.  That's why I couldn't get mad that she was always at work. I poured myself a bowl of cereal and ate it quickly. Then, I went back upstairs and got dressed for the day. I put on a Nike hoodie, leggings, and my Nike Roshes. My makeup didn't take long either because I only used BB cream, eyeliner, and mascara. Finally, I was done getting ready, so I left for school.
As I was walking through the hallway, my best friend Brooke caught up with me.  "So who was that hot guy I saw you with in the library yesterday?"  she asked me with a grin.  Brooke was a beautiful girl.  She had long, dark brown hair, gorgeous green eyes, a perfect complexion and body, and the sweetest smile.  She was a cheerleader and an amazing singer.  Everyone was jealous of her.
     "You saw us?  How?"
"I was walking to the gym for cheer practice and passed you guys.  So spill it!"
"Well, that was Ethan Dolan.  Him and his twin brother recently moved out here from New Jersey.  He's actually my tutor," I explained, with a nervous laugh.
"Oh my god, you got a tutor?  I wouldn't think you would be caught dead with one.  What's he like?"  I could sense that she was going to go on and on, but I didn't care.  She had a hot boyfriend, Jack, and it was about my turn to get some action too.
"Hot, smart, funny, nice... Anything I could ever want in a guy."  Just talking about Ethan gave me a huge smile.
"You're definitely right on that hot part. Get some!" She shouted with a laugh. As I laughed along with her, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Ethan grinning.
"Oh, hey!" I greeted him, blushing. What if he had heard that whole thing? Brooke turned too, spotting him.
"Hey. I'm Ethan," he said, extending his hand toward Brooke as he said that last part.
"I'm Brooke, it's nice to meet you. My class is right here, so I'll see you two later!" She cut across us and went into her classroom.
"So, you think I'm hot?" Ethan questioned with a smirk. I blushed before I could give him an answer. "Hey, no need to be embarrassed. I could say the same thing about you, my friend." I giggled as we walked together.
"Are you headed to algebra with Mrs. Meyer?"
"Yeah, I am, actually." I nodded and let him know that I was going there to. Eventually, we arrived and took our seats.
Class droned on and on for what seemed like hours, but finally, it ended.  The whole time, Ethan had shot me little grins and goofy faces, keeping me as entertained as you can be in an algebra class.  The teacher dismissed us, and as I walked out, Ethan caught up with me.
"I was thinking maybe we could hang out after school?" He offered to me, grabbing my arm to get my attention.
"Sure.  What did you have planned?"  I was beyond excited.
"Um, we could get a pizza or something and just chill at your house.  Do you have any ideas?"  He looked over at me, practically making me melt.  I searched my head for ideas, and thought of a picnic.  Would that seem like too much of a date though?  Not that I would mind...
"I like the pizza idea.  But how about we eat it at the park?  I've got a blanket in my car."  Hopefully, he wouldn't think that I was trying too hard.
"That sounds great.  Almost like a date, if you ask me."  Oh my fucking God.  He caught onto me. He smirked and stared at me, waiting for my response.  He knew I wouldn't deny it.
"If you want it to be,"  I said, smirking back at him.  I wasn't usually this flirty.  It was last period during that conversation so I had one period to go before our date.
Wow.  I was actually going on a date with Ethan...  Unbelievable.
An hour and a half later and I was walking through the parking lot to my car with Ethan.
"Meet me at the park.  I'll be by the pond."  I told him when I arrived at my car.
"Got it.  Is pepperoni pizza and Coke good?"
"Sounds great," I called back to him as I climbed in my car.  He smiled at me and waved, getting into his own vehicle.  The best few hours of my entire existence were about to take place and I couldn't be more happy.

Sorry that I haven't updated in a while and that this part was so short.  The next part will be up tomorrow I think.
