Rick and Lori and Andrea and Carl were glad to get away from the quarry. I reminded them of their lost ones. So now, the remaining survivors of the group walked a short distance to Atlanta. Military people had done tests and other things to assure we were not going to turn. Alas they were safe. Lavender hid her powers from the military. Rick, Lori, Carl and the baby had made a home in a small apartment. Andrea, Carol and Lavender had lived just down the hall. Lavender knew that Hogwarts was unlikely to be taken back from the dead. Still a little nervous, she opened a book and prepared herself for a new life. A life of safety, food, fresh water, clean clothes, friends... Anything she could ever ask for.
