Another boring day at school that was only about to become an even longer one since I had to stay after in the library to study for AP Biology. Mrs. Finch just had to give us a stupid project over the DNA of a snail. Sounds easy right? Wrong she decided you had to also apply that to how it affects the DNA its predators too. What kind of animal would give a teenager such a horrendous topic? The good part is that I'm almost done. As I was about to begin the writing portion of my project my stomach began to growl so I got up to go get something to snack on from the vending machines? When I got up I noticed hoe dark it was outside and how creepy the library can look when it's just you and the books at this time of day. I took my phone with me since it was the only thing keeping me from be surrounded by complete silence and continued to sing along with the song that was playing.

When I got to the vending machine I put my money in for a bag of chips but just as it was about to drop the chips got stuck in the coil. I groan as I hit the machine slightly but not enough to shake them lose. Before I could raddle the machine I though I heard a loud growl and took out my headphones. I looked down both hallways and begin to walk towards the way I thought the noise came, as I neared the end of the hallway I heard the growl again but much louder than before. When I come around the corner I saw someone with their back facing towards me and Scott, Stiles, and Kira on the other side of the person.

When I looked at Kira's hand I noticed a sword and became a bit confused. "Guy what are you doing here? And why do you have a sword?" at this everyone's center of focus changed to me, including the person whose back was facing me. When he turned around his eyes were glowing a bright gold and his features were animalistic. "What the..." "Victoria run!" is what all three said just before the person came charging at me. Only instead of running away like a normal person I ran at the beast seeing a good opportunity to take it down.

As it grew closer and closer I slid onto my knees as it arm came out and swung at me but not before its claws scratched at my shoulder as I ducked the rest of it attack. I looked down at my arm and noticed blood coming from it but I paid no attention to it as I got up. Lucky for me its back was still facing me so, I took the advantage and leaped into the air as I spun around connect the heel of my foot with the side of its head. The boy went flying into the side of the wall making the wall crumble under the pressure as his unconscious body slumped to the floor. As I turned around and looked back at the three seniors from before I noticed all three have shocked facial expressions. I look back down at my arm and see the liquid that was once dark red is now a luminous white seeping down my arm and collecting into a pool of white liquid on the floor. My fear begins to grows as does my heart rate, I start to feel light headed as my eyes trail up to the three people before me as I say, "What's happening to me?" then before I can get an answer the world fades to black.

I woke up but I couldn't see anything around me it was as if the world had become consumed by darkness and all it knew was pitch black. That was until I looked up and saw something flying down. I continued to stare at it as more of this creature continued to follow it from the sky. Once it landed I recognized the creature as the angel from my dreams. She walks up to me and cups my face in her hands as she says, "You've been awoken my dear Victoria and there is no going back. You will begin to change but do not be afraid. The people you are with, your friends they will help you as you figure out what is happening to you but remember the warnings I told you weeks ago. Something is coming and they will need you to stop it, I'm so sorry I can't tell you more my dear but when you need me I will be there." "But how will you know, what do I say when I need you?" "Just call me by what I am and I will be there." I nod my head as I look around at the angels that have now landed and begun to bring light to the darkness, "What has happened here?" "A war before your time, my dear there's no time to explain you've got to wake up now my Victoria." She says as she backs away from me "But I don't want to." I say as I walk to her, "But you must, wake up Victoria." I close my eyes as I try to fight the pull that I tugging on me to wake up. "Wake up Victoria." She says in a more demanding and powerful voice, "Wake up!"
