Katsuki giggled as they watched Asahi scurry after Nishinoya. Chiharu rolled her eyes, "What a dork." "It looked like he was checking you out, Chi-chan." The captain gave her a playful wink. "Duh!" Chiharu stood and put her hands on her hips, "He was checking out my amazing spike!"

Michimiya put her head in her hand, a perfect face palm. "Not that kind of checking out."

The first-year cocked her head, "Really?" She didn't know what else the handsome third year would be looking at. "He obviously thinks you're cute," Katsuki nudged her, "Did you see the way he jumped when you looked at him?"

"Well, yeah, but I didn't think anything of it." Chiharu was so confused. Why would Asahi be looking at her like that? He was a 3rd year and there were plenty of other pretty girls at Karasuno. A lot prettier than her anyway. "You never know, Chi-chan," Captain smiled at her. Chiharu shrugged.

Katsuki picked up a volleyball, "Hey Chi, I didn't quite like that last toss." Chiharu thought for a moment, "Yeah, it was a little high for me, but I still hit it." Katsuki spun the ball in her hands, "I know, I wanna try something else, I think it'll work better."

"Sweet!" Chiharu bounced back to her spot from which she would start her running start, "I'm ready when you are!" Their senpai giggled, "You two have so much energy!"

After practice, Chiharu started to think about what Katsuki and Captain Michimiya had told her. "He obviously thinks you're cute."

Does he really?

The young girl's heart began to skip a beat at the very thought of it. "What's on your mind?" she felt Katsuki nudge her. "Just thinkin'" Chiharu shrugged. "About him?" The orange-haired girls' cheeks turned pink, "N-No! Why would I be thinking about Asahi?!"

"You're such a tsundere, Chi."

"I am not!"

"Hey! Kat, Chi!" Tanaka's voice boomed across the sidewalk. The girls looked up and saw the boys' volleyball team, in front of the store n their new coach worked at. Asahi was with them too. "Nii-chan!" Shoyo waved at his twin. Chiharu smiled and waved back at him.

"How was practice?" Sugawara smiled sweetly at them as they joined the boys. "Good," Katsuki smiled. "I think we're starting to figure out our toss," Chiharu said, proud of her friend.

The two girls hadn't been going to the same school for long, but they had clicked with each other ever since the day they had met. They were best friends. "Asahi thought your spike was really good," Nishinoya said teasingly. Asahi blushed, "Nishinoya..." Chiharu couldn't help but snicker. He was such a big goof.

Despite his large frame and bad-boy appearance, he was more of a teddy bear than he was a bad boy. "Oh, hey," Chiharu looked up and saw Diachi. "I didn't know you girls would be joining us." In his hand were several paper bags. Looks like he bought pork buns for the boys again. He handed them out to the boys. He bowed apologetically to the girls, "I'm so sorry, if I had known, I would've bought you some too!"

Chiharu waved her hand at him, "Its ok, Senpai. I'm not that hungry anyway." The smell of fresh pork bun made her tummy hurt with hunger. Katsuki looked like she felt the same. Just then Nishinoya broke off a piece of his pork bun. "Here," he handed it to Katsuki, "You look hungry." Katsuki's cheeks flushed, but with a nervous, "Thanks" she took the offering from her crush.

"That was nice of you, Noya-san," Sugawara smiled at him. Chiharu thought it was weird that he hadn't offered to share with his sister, but knowing Noya, he had just beaten Suga to the punch. "Hinata!" Tanaka scolded him. "Give some to your sister! She's obviously hungry!"

"Tanaka-san," Chiharu took a step back, trying to avoid Tanaka's temper and Hinata's outburst. "What the hell, Tanaka-san?" The short boy began to throw a fit and argue with the upperclassmen.

"Here," A hand with half of a pork bun appeared in front of her. She looked up and saw Asahi handing it to her. He smiled, "Just take it, Chiharu-chan." Had she almost backed up into him? "No, Asa-" He placed the pork bun in her open hand. She glared up at him, "Fine, but I'm not taking it cause I want too. You're making me, goofball."

"You're so mean!"
