On the rooftop, Asahi looked at his watch. It was almost 6:30, the sun was starting to set. Oh man! Did she ditch him? Did she forget?! He paced back and forth, mumbling the words Katsuki told him to say to himself. He clutched the small panda teddy bear in his hands. "Just relax," Katsuki had told him that morning.

He looked across the school yard, he saw a few of the volleyball girls walking home. His heart felt like it was going to jump out of his chest. "A-Asa-senpai?"

Shit! That's her! Asahi spun to face her, hiding the bear behind his back. She was back in her school uniform, her dark orange hair fell in smooth waves, stopping at her shoulders. "Chiharu!" He squeaked, "So you got my note?"

She pulled the note out from behind her back, "This one?" He nodded. His voice wouldn't work! He had never been this far! What do I do? What do I do?! "So what did you wanna talk to me about?" She asked innocently. The sunset seemed to lightly kiss her body, making her hair and skin glow, and her school uniform was fitted to her small 160 cm frame.

Sweat fell off his brow, he could feel his face start to flush. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out. "Asa-senpai?" She came toward him, "Are you ok? You're pale!"

Say something!

"Oh my, Asa-senpai!" she gasped, "You're sweating, just stay here! I-I'll go get the nurse, I think she's still here!" She turned, oh no he was going to lose her...

Before he knew it, he had grabbed her hand. She turned and looked up at him. A pale pink blush adored her beautiful face. "Asahi..." she whispered. Finally, he swallowed the lump in his throat. Shaking, he managed to look her in the eye. "Chiharu, I-I really like you," he began, the words spilling out of his mouth clumsily, "I- think you're adorable and I...I...I wanna take you on a date!" The last part he seemed to yell, and she flinched.

"Sorry!" He fumbled, and accidentally dropped the panda and took her other hand, "Did I scare you?" She tried to pull away, she wouldn't look at him. Oh shit, he blew it, he totally blew it! She looked up at him through her eyelashes and giggled happily. What the?

"Sure, Asa-senpai, I'll let you take me on a date."

What, did she just say yes? "Asa-senpai, I hate to ruin the mood, but you're crushing my hands."

"Crap! I'm sorry!" he jumped back, "Are you hurt?" She laughed, "No you big dork!" He sighed with relief. Wait a second, where was the-? He had dropped it! Asahi spun around and scooped up the teddy bear off the ground. "Whatcha got there?" Chiharu asked him.

"Um," he turned and faced her again. He was gonna do this right. This time, he closed the gap between the two of them, but still giving her some room. His shadow seemed to engulf the smaller girl.

"It's a little panda bear," He handed it to her, "I know you like pandas, and it has green eyes, and it's cute. It reminded me of you, because well you're eyes are kinda green and you're cute." There he said it! Her face turned red at the word 'cute', but she smiled and hugged the bear close, "Th-thanks senpai."

He rubbed the back of his head nervously, "So uh...Where do you want me to take you?" Her eyes narrowed, and the flush faded from her face, "I don't know." She smiled up at him, "Surprise me!" He blinked, "but I-"

Her finger covered his lips. She was standing even closer to him, he felt her chest brush against him as she stood on her tiptoes in order to reach his face. His heart pounded in his chest. "Friday night, pick me up at my house at 6 and we'll go from there, ok?"

Not knowing what else to do, he nodded vigorously. "Good," her hand slid down his chest. "I guess I'll see you then?" Asahi snickered, "Yeah, see ya then."

"Well, I should get going, Shoyo will worry about me." With one last wave, and a sweet smile, Hinata Chiharu closed the rooftop door behind her and left Asahi on the roof, stunned. A grin spanned across his face, and he punched the air, "Yes!"

Chiharu leaned up against the wall, a goofy smile on her lips as she squeezed the panda bear close to her. Her heart was still bouncing around in her chest. She heard Asahi let out a holler, and she giggled again. "If I'm dreaming, I don't wanna wake up."
