These quotes are from one of my favorite books, Dark Summer by Lizzy Ford. The reason the title of this "chapter" has (v.1) in it is because there are two versions of the book; one was published by the author herself, the other by an actual publishing company. The first version, (v.1), is the one published by the author herself. The second, newer version is (v.2). There are slight differences between the two versions, which is why I'll be posting both. The biggest difference is that the novellas, Summer Night (book 1.5) and Autumn Dawn (book 2.5) are included in Dark Summer and Autumn Storm in the newer versions. The same thing will be in the title for the second book in the series, Autumn Storm. I'm going to be posting them in this order: Dark Summer (v.1), Summer Night, Autumn Storm (v.1), Autumn Dawn, Dark Summer (v.2), Autumn Storm (v.2), and Winter Fire. The series is exclusively ebooks, so no page numbers. In this series, witchlings are people with magick in their blood. Each one can use magic from at least one of five elements: fire, water, air, earth, and spirit.
