The next morning they all woke up, they checked their map and the next place headed was The Calm lands . They past the The Calm lands, Gagazet Mountain, Kimahari's home, all the way to Zanarkand ruins.
Yuna, Lulu, Wakka, Auron, Kimahari, Rikku and Tidus knew that this was the end. The end of the pilgramige. Tidus was not letting Yuna die by Sin, So he had to think of a way to avoid Yuna's death, even if he had to sacrifice himself. The only way to defeating Sin was with the final summoning in the ancient temple of Zanarkand, that was the only way of defeating him. They all reached the temple, there the final aeon was there. The temple was not like the others it was different, it was a temple in ruins but it had the most important thing, The chambers of Fayth. Yuna went to pray to the faith but something happen.
Yuna: Sir Auron! Everyone! – she shouted as they looked to her. Everyone follow Yuna into the chambers.
Yuna: This is not the last Aeon, its just an empty statue.
A priest which was an illusion of the temple told her that the statue of the final aeon lost it's power a long time ago. It was the first final Aeon and it's power was given to the first summoner, Lord Zaon, to defeat Sin 20 years ago. In other words the soul of the Final summoning, the final aeon doesn't exist, its gone.
Wakka: What?
Rikku: You mean, theres no final aeon?
The priest said that they should not fear, they will obtain there final Aeon with lady Yunalesca's help. Yuna and the final aeon were going to join powers. He told her that she should go see her. Yuna was going to go see her but Tidus shouted.
" Yuna wait!" – Tidus looking over to Auron he asked him: " Auron, you knew this was going to happen, didn't you?
Auron: Yes...
Rikku: Why didn't you tell us?
Auron: If I had told you the truth, would that really have stopped you from coming?
Yuna: Iam not going back!
Kimahari : Kimahari knows.
Kimahari stands beside Yuna and he told her that he was going to enter the door first just for her safety.
Kimahari: Yuna is safe. Kimahari protect.
Those were his words of courage. Everyone entered and Yuna was last. They were now in the Chambers of fayth. Lady Yunalesca's spirit walked towards them.
Yuna: Lady Yunalesca.

Yunalesca: Welcome to the last Temple of Zanarkand. I congratulate you, summoner. You have completed you Pilgramige. I will now bestow you what you seek. The final summoning will be yours. Now choose.
Yuna was kind of confuse, she didn't know what she was talking about. Choose what? Thats what she probably thought. Lady Yunalesca explained that she needed to choose the person, one of her guardians, that she was going to transform as the final Aeon to defeat the gigantic Sin. Everybody was astonished, this was not what they expected.
Yunalesca: There must be a bond, between chosen and summoner, that is what the final summoning embodies: The bond between husband and wife, mother and child or between friends. If that bond is strong, that will conquer Sin. Twenty years ago I chose my husband, Zaon as my final aeon. Our bond was true and I obtained the final aeon.
Tidus was in a sad mood. He knew that one of his friends or maybe himself would have to sacrifice themselves to become Yuna's last summoning. Not only that, Yuna was also sacrificing herself because if she goes and defeats Sin, the final aeon will kill Sin and also herself.
Yunalesca: Do not fear, for once you call forth the final aeon, your life will end. No more pain nor worries. Death is the ultimate and final liberation.
Yunalesca went inside of one of the chambers while Yuna kept thinking.
Auron: I remembered that, Jecht was the one that was transformed for Braska as the final aeon. He and Braska promised me that they were going to find out to how to break the cycle of Sin. But... the cycle still continues.
Tidus: We'll break it!
Lulu: If one of us have's to become the final summoning.. I volunteer.
Wakka: Me too, Yuna.
Tidus: Don't do it Yuna! You guy's! Sin always comes back, it comes back after The Calm every time. The cycle will continue and your deaths will mean nothing! Becoming the Final aeon won't break the cycle.
Wakka: You can't have everything. You don't want Sin? Well we have to sacrifice ourselves.
Tidus: But I want everything!
Lulu: Trying to have everything will make yourself lose it all.
Tidus: Well, there is no way I am going to stand here and let Yuna go or lose you guys. Iam going to ask Yunalesca, she may know something.
Rikku: You think she will help you?
Tidus: I don't know, but ill try.
Tidus and everybody went to see Yunalesca to see if she knew another way to this situation. Pyerflies of her soul gather and Yunalesca appeared. She asked Yuna if she has chosen the one who will become the Final summoning. But Yuna wanted to ask something first before making a decision.
" Will Sin come back even if I use the Final summoning to defeat it?"
Yunalesca: Sin is eternal. Every final aeon that defeats it becomes the next Sin in its place. It is never ending.
Lulu: This.. this cannot be.. the teaching of Yevon says that if we pay for what we done in the past Sin will never come back, its been are only hope for all these years.
Tidus: NO!
Yunalesca: The teachings, Yevon , that is Spiras hope, without hope people will drown in there own sorrow. Now choose.
Yuna: No one. I would have gladly die. I live for the people of Spira, and would have gladly die for them. But no more, the final summoning... is a false tradition the must be thrown away.
Yunalesca: You would throw away hope? Your father, chose this path to give Spira hope.
Yuna: Wrong, my father wanted to free Spira from sorrow, not just cover it up with lies and false hopes.
Yunalesca: Poor child, I will free you from your sorrow, let me be then, your liberator.
Yunalesca was going to kill Yuna but before she could do that, Yuna with her staff send Yunalesca were the dead belongs, to the Farplane, then without the final Summoning they all left the temple and boarded Rikku's airship.
Itsbeen 10 hours and nothing has happen but then in the mid air, the Airship really bad, Lulu looked out to the Window and she wouldn't imagine...
