It was morning and Yuna and her guardians were packing there things, including Tidus. They were getting ready to get on the boat to Luca. It was time and they all got on the ship. The Besaid Aurochs team and the Kilika Beast blitzball team were really excited and nervious at the same time because then next day they had the Blitzball tornament in Luca.
Tidus and the Besaid Aurochs joined with Wakka; were Practicing for the game the whole trip. It was night and everybody was sleeping except Tidus, he was still practicing in the front part of the ship, Lulu and Wakka were talking in the deck. Yuna was awake, she saw Tidus practicing and she decided to go have a chat with him.
Tidus was thinking about his father Jecht. Jecht was also the most popular Star Blitzball player in Zanarkand, Tidus hated his father because of that, because he was famous and he was always criticzing him for being a newbie on blitzball.
Yuna walked up to him and said:
Yuna: You were practicing the Jecht Shot right?
Tidus: How do you know that?
Yuna: Sir Jecht showed me once when I was a child, he calls It the magnificent Jecht Shot mark III.
Tidus: Stupid name, right? He made that up just to hook the crowed every night at the stadium. He said they'd be coming back every night expecting to see mark I and mark II. They really did come back. I use to get so... mad.
Yuna laughed and then there was an awkward moment of silence all of a sudden, the only thing that you could hear was the ocean and the night wind. Tidus then after thinking about his father asked Yuna:
Tidus: Do you think he's alive?
Yuna: I don't know, but Sir Jecht was my fathers guardian.
Tidus: So my old man is famous here too?
Yuna: Yes, so if anything happened to him, word would be spreading all over Spira.
Tidus kinda doubt it a little, he just stared at Yuna while she continued to ask:
Yuna: What would you do, if you found him?
Tidus:Who knows. I thought he died ten years ago. Well...l'll probably just smack him one right in his face. After everything he put mom and me through. And because he was famous I was always ... Well you should know Yuna, your fathers famous too. Everyone in Spira know him right? Ain't it tough?
Yuna just listen to Tidus, she really enjoyed talking to him and about his father.
Yuna: It is hard to follow on his footsteps as a summoner. But the honor of having a father like him surpasses all that, I think.
Tidus: Well.. There wasn't to much to honor about my old man, that's for sure.
Yuna: You shouldn't say that about yout father!
Tidus: Hey, I got the right!
Yuna: I guess you do.
In that moment Wakka who was in the deck hit Tidus with a Blitzball right in the arm. Tidus looked over and Wakka yelled:
" Hey kiddo's is past your bed time already!"
Off they went to sleep, tomorrow was a big day. It was the big Blitzball tournament.
Early in the morning Tidus woke up in went to the deck and saw the city of Luca really crowed. People were really excited, all the people around Spira were waiting for the moment to entertain themselves with the most exciting game ever. The ship were Tidus was on stopped in dock 3, all the others ship stopped in there own docks assigned. The city of Luca was really cheerful,there were fans of each team, some were cheering for The Luca Goers, other for The Besaid Aurochs and etc. Tidus saw the big Blitzball Stadium which was a really round sphere It was transparent, in side the sphere had a lot of amount of water. Blitzball was a game were you play under the water with the opposing team. It was like soccer but under water and you could use your hands.
The game announcer, announced all the teams that were participating this year.
Game announcer: And here we have the Kilika beast, from Kilika. Summoner Ohalland use to play for them. And here we have are very own.. The Luca Goers, One of the best team in Spira. Well, well, well if it isn't the Beeesaid Aurochs! They're a living, breathing, statistical impossibility! I've never seen a team so bad. That's right folks, In twenty-three years they've never past the first round. Only a few die-hard fans are in the audience today. Best luck for them all.
The Luca Goers had to much confidence, they really thought they were the best Blitzball team in all over Spira, but Tidus was gonna make sure that they weren't to overconfident, he took a loudspeaker and shouted:
"Stop right there,Goers! You guys are smiling now, but not for long! Cause this year us Aurochs are taking the cup! Ha ha ha ha HA HA!"
All of a sudden one of the Aurochs member walked up and told Yuna and all the team members that Maester Mika had arrivied. Maester Mika was the great leader of Yevon, he came really far from Bevelle just to bless all the Blitzball teams and may Sin not attack while the game. All the people in Luca were in dock 3 waiting for Maester Mika to receive them. Tidus was confuse and just ask:
-"What's up now?"
Yuna: Maester Mika has arrived, that's what.
Tidus: Mika? Maester?
Lulu: Maester Mika is the leader of the people of Spira. He has come all the way from Bevelle. The tournament is being held to celebrate his fifty years as a maester.
Tidus: Fifty years? Shouldn't he be,uh, retired by now?
Yuna and her guardians, the players, the people of Spira went to see the grand Maester of Yevon. All the people were waiting and finally the Maester from Guadosalam came out, It was Maester Seymour. He kneeled before the grand Maester of Spira and everbody did it too. Maester Mika finally appeared.
Maester Mika: People of Spira, I thank you all for such generous welcome. Rise Maester Seymour- he said while Seymour was kneeled.
He presented to all the people of Spira Maester Seymour, the son of Maester Jyscal Guado, who departed to the farplane fortnight past.
Seymour: Seymour Guado. Iam honored to receive the title of Maester. I vow to carry my father's legacy and to fulfill my duties as Maester to the best of my abilitys.
Seymour looking at the crowed notice a cute girl which was Yuna, he looked at her really passionate, Yuna was really nervious and Tidus noticed it when Seymour looked at her. Wakka noticed it too so, to distract everybody he yelled to his team members to have a last meeting, before the game.
The game was about to start. Wakka explained the basics things of the game in off they went to play the first match with the Al Bhed Physics. The team was really nervous, they thought that maybe they weren't going to past the first round,but they still had faith this year to at least past the first round. Wakka cheered for them and yelled "Victory" just like Tidus had taught them all. So off Wakka and Tidus went with the members of the team into the sphere of water
