Epilogue

5 years later

On my neatly made bed laid a navy blue dress. A small smile spread over my lips as I looked at it. Never had I thought this would have happened, at least not when I was held tied to a chair and being hit, not for the first time but the tenth time. I put on the blue tight but professional dress and paired it with a pair of black heels. It's not every day you meet the president. As soon as I had sipped up my dress the doorbell to my house rang.

"Josh can you open the door please!" I shouted to my husband who was in the other room, already done and waiting for me to get ready.

"Of course babe!"

It didn't take long before I heard the door open and a familiar light voice greeted my husband. Quickly I grabbed my bag and made my way down the stairs to meet my best friend and co-worker.

Juliette's hair and clothes was as always beautifully styled. Her looks made my clothing and makeup look dull. Just as me she also wore a blue dress, but hers was cuter and not as tight to the body. She looked younger; she made me remember the days back at the spy school. Memories awoke from the first time I was held captured. Shawn had been awful to me, worse than any other criminal that I have met after him. I am happy he is now dead and gone. Josh saved my life and I am forever grateful, he is the hero in my life. Even though Shawn is dead he hasn't completely left earth. My body has still scars from being hit and they remind me every day of what happened. However, worse are the nightmares that never go away. At night when the nightmares takes place Josh are always there to hug me afterwards. Josh has been a huge part of my life since the mission with Shawn. Josh is still a huge part of my life.

"Are you ready to go babe?" Josh askes me as he grabs my hand and strokes it with his thumb. I can't stop myself from smiling, he is what brings happiness into my life. If my life would be the dark he would be the sun, making life on earth function. In this case life on earth is my heart. My heart beats for him and I don't know what would happen if he left me. I nod as an answer to Josh's question.

As we walked towards the car Juliette exclaimed with excitement in a way that only she can do, not to loud and not too annoying.

"Time to celebrate the eleventh time Lucy has saved the world!"

Josh laughs and adds;

"And it is with the president!"

I can't stop myself from laughing as we get into the car. In the car Jaxon is seated in the driver's seat with an excited smile on his lips.

"Congratulations!" He exclaims as I enter the car. I thank him and that is when Josh kisses my cheek, probably in a way to tell me congratulations too. Juliette giggled in excitement for me as we drove off to meet the president.

And that is how I lived happily ever after in a life a bit different than others. In a life were you love, spy and some people die.
