CHAPTER THREE

( Here is my new chapter! Please comment and criticize)

She first took me by the gym to show me the most athletic athletes at the school. The boys were all sweaty and lifting barbells. But the main dude was the biggest with the most robust physique. His name was Jeremy Richards and he was quarterback for the football team, the mighty Falcons.

“Just don’t get on his bad side because you should see the way he treated his ex, who is captain of the cheerleading squad. Kimberly Scott. Which by the way should be coming out any time now.”

A bunch of red mini skirts came out of the locker room doors. Cheering and whooping came all around the gym as the squad came out. The team got in there formation. Then a gorgeous brunette with long hairless legs came out looking like a true captain. Her boobs and hips swayed for which her uniform was too tight. “Go Falcons!” She screamed as her team got into place.

The weightlifting boys began to stare intensely at the jumping girls in pushup bras. “Hey man.” One boy said while hitting Jeremy’s arm. “ so what’s happening between you and Kim?”

“ Nothing man, things just wasn’t working anymore.” Jeremy laughed and shrugged the question off.

Our new home seemed to be better than our last one. There still was a little renovation to be installed, but besides that every things okay. I sat in my room combing through my fuzzy curls that is suppose to be called hair. Getting the comb through can be difficult. Wearing my tattered blue jeans with holes, and my black leather boots that run up my ankles. My shirt was a faded yellow half shirt that was sort of baggy. And a black tank top that barely covered my belly button. Some people say my sense of fashion is off for a sixteen year old kid, but I say sorry for not being up for all that princess stuff.

“ KRIS!” a yell came from downstairs. “ Come help unpack!”

I walked down the staircase to see my father and sister shoveling boxes across the living room. Crash! One of then went.

“ Jerry oh no, not my china. Kristie can you get that up for me?”

“ Sure thing Angela, and by the way it’s Kris.”

Then Kris’s father got involved. “Kristie just get the box up okay.” then he whispered, “ we had a deal, you were supposed to call her mom for two moths.”

“ Sorry dad but two months was up yesterday.”

Dad turned to Angela and gave her a sad face. “ I’m sorry honey, guess she stills have to get use to you.”

She kissed my father. “It’s okay, she’ll come around eventually.”

“I love you Angie” Sarah said while giving her a huge hug around the thighs.

After storming back upstairs to my room, the staircase became extremely cold. Almost below zero. A shadowy figure blew across my sight and through the wall. Then the temperature started to go back to normal.

DING!DONG! The door bell went.

“ Hi Mrs. Andrews, I’m looking for Kris.”

I came down stairs and saw one of the girls from school who stood in the doorway in a proper greeting manner. Legs crossed and arms behind her back. Wearing a pink button up shirt and hair in a bun. Was this girl seriously this perfect? I guess being the mayor’s daughter you have a reputation to look up to.

“ Hey Carly, what are you doing here?” I asked playfully.

“ There you are Kris. I came to take you on a shopping spree courtesy of my father. He knows all the new arrivals in town. He heard you were my age so he gave me his card to go have some girly fun. So ya’ coming”

Angela looked at me, then back at Carly. “ She’ll be right out.” Then closed the door.

“ I didn’t say whether I would go or not.”

Angela took me upstairs to her room and sat me down at her makeup counter.

“ You’re about to go out so, a little makeup want hurt.” She applied some blush and a strange powder that made my skin glow. A little lip gloss to make it really pop.

“ There you go. All done.”

Make up really wasn’t my thing anyway since I had naturally beautiful skin. She combed my hair as much as she could to get the frizzes out, but they didn’t budge.

I opened the door to Carly standing there all polite and nice.

“ You ready friend.” Carly said as she grabbed my wrist real tightly and then pulled.

But the strangest thing is that while Angela was touching me up, I can recall seeing a faint image of what appeared to be a figure of Carly’s face in the reflection of the mirror. Except the image was distorted and resembled a zombie or monster(darkness).

A bright pinkish yellowy convertible rested in our driveway. With the initials C-A-M tattooed on the rear glass.

“ Is this your car?” I said amazed enough to speak.

“ Yes. You know being the mayor’s daughter comes with a lot of perks, like this car.”

“ Nice” Is all I could say.

Getting in the car, the air was tight and I couldn’t hardly breath. I wondered why the air was so constricting to my lungs, and not Carly’s.

“ Look out mall, here we come!” Carly drove out onto the road.
