The new girl that I had helped on the first day proved elusive. That is until I saw her in the cafeteria Friday afternoon. Her brown ombred hair caught my attention as the wind from an open window blew her hair acrossed her face. Our eyes met and I couldn't stop my legs from moving me to her, when I was finally in front of her I sat down, trying to be cool, obviously failing. "Hey" I said in a cool tone.
" Hi" she seemed nervous.
" So, did you get lost without talking to me for a week?" I asked her mischievously. Her friend giggled and both of them blushed. " I never caught your name earlier"
"Oh, um, it's Kylee" she said blushing, she looked so cute when she did that. "what's your name?" She asked, she was flirting.
" Alex" I answered, it was my turn to flirt. "Would you like to go out some time?" Well then, that was smooth.
"Sure, when?" She seemed like she was still nervous.
" Oh, um.... I'll pick you up tonight at 6, at the library" I said assuring her that there was no need to be nervous.
"Oh, well i'll see you tonight" she answered, she looked down to the ground, she was embarrassed. That made her look so cute I wanted to kiss her right then, oh well i'll have to wait until tonight. I ruffled my black hair back and turned away, damn you've done good, I said to myself.
Later that night I drove up to library, and I saw Kylee walk out of the building in a black cami, black mini skirt, and a pair of black knee-high converse; she was gorgeous.
She ducked into my red sports car and buckled up as I drove out of the parking lot. " Where are we going?" She asked.
Crap I hadn't thought of that. "I'm taking you to the drive in. You know the one uptown" I told her. Your so stupid, of course she doesn't know where the drive in is. Oh well, now she would, I thought with a grimace. I drove to the drive in, all the while hoping and praying that this movie-date would go well.
