The Pizza Place

Niall's POV

"Karlee, do you want to go out to eat, Liam said he would watch Gabriela?" I asked Gaby walking into her room to see her spread across the bed on her back looking at the ceiling. Gaby was playing with some of her toys in her playpen.

"Um, sure. Where too?" She asked not bothering to look away from the ceiling

"I was thinking about going to a pizza place down in the middle of town." I shrugged 

Now Karlee shot up, smiling at me as she sat up on the bed staring at me. I smiled at her confused.

"A pizza place in the center of town, doesn't that remind you of something?" She asked still smiling

Pizza place, middle of town?

"Oh yeah, I didn't even realize." I chuckled 

"Of course you didn't, you corny little leprechaun." She rolled her eyes sarcastically

"I really didn't." I laughed taking a seat next to her on the bed

If you were wondering I took Karlee on a first date in the center of town at a little pizza place that I loved going to. I remember that day like it was just yesterday, that was the day I asked Karlee to be my girlfriend.

I laid back on the bed and Karlee laid next to me. We both stared up at the ceiling just, thinking.

"Seems like just yesterday." Karlee sighed looking over at me

"Doesn't it." I sighed looking over at her beautiful face

"Haaa." she sighed

"What time are we going?" She asked

"I was thinking around five so in about two hours." I shrugged

"Two hours! Better go get ready." She hopped off the bed making me chuckle

"Only you would take two hours to get ready to go to a pizza place." 

"Your right, only me." she smiled before skipping out of the room with an outfit in her arms.

I ran to my room with Gaby to get dressed.

I put on a pair of tan pants with a white polo and my white high tops. I checked myself a few times in the body length mirror, I did my hair then went downstairs to tell Liam everything and anything he needed to know about watching Gaby tonight. I sat on the floor playing with Gaby in the living room when Karlee came walking down the stairs looking beautiful as always. He hair was down and straight, she had natural make-up on with a dark blue knee length skirt that puffed out slightly with a cream lace crop top, and a pair of cream lace flats that matched her top.

I smiled at her and stood up walking over to her as she stepped onto the floor her little tan shoulder bag around her. "You look lovely." I complimented her.

"Thanks, you do too." She smiled shyly 

"I love... your skirt." Nice play Niall

She didn't say anything she just looked down at her feet and walked over to Gaby who was now playing with Liam. 

"Bye baby girl." She cooed at her bending down a little opening her arms for a hug "Can mummy have a hug before she leaves."

"No mummy." Gaby turned to keep playing

Karlee looked taken aback for a minute. "Fine daddy will give me a hug." She said standing back up and pretending to pout.

"Yes I will." I smiled at Liam who was looking at me smirking he knew my whole plan for tonight. I wrapped my arms around the side of her petite body, she tensed in my arms for a moment but then relaxed.

"See daddy's nice to me." She smiled when I let her go

"Not me." Gaby chuckled

"Well we better get going. Be good for uncle Li Li." I kissed the top of her head so did Karlee and then we were gone.

The car ride was silent but comfortable until we got to the pizza place.

"Ready to eat?" Karlee asked "Wait never mind, what kind of question is that you're always ready to eat." She corrected herself and I laughed.

I jumped out of the car and walked to the other side opening the door for Karlee.She stepped out and we walked to the door side by side. We walked in and ordered our food then took a seat across from eachother. We looked into eachothers eyes for a little until I decided to start a conversation. 

"So, how do you like it here in London?" I asked starting a conversation

"I actually really like it kind of more then Mullingar not much goes on back home like it does here." She smiled playing with the straw of her Coke.

"Ya it's nice." I smiled

"So what d you think we'll do when we tell the fans, you know about Gabs." I added in taking a sip of my drink

"I'm not sure."

"Well you could always move into the flat. I've talked to the boys about that before they really like you and think it would be a great idea." I tried holding back a smile

"Um, I don't know Niall that's a big commitment. Leaving my flat in Ireland to come move down here for something that who knows what could happen to." She said a little sad

"Nothings going to happen to us I mean, if you don't want anything to." I shrugged

"What do you mean Niall, there's really nothing between us. Plus we can't even tell the fans until there is something.." She trailed off

Do it now Niall it's a perfect time.

What if she says no?

She won't.

I shook my head for a moment before looking down at my lap. I reached my hand into my pocket and held it in  my hands under the table. I played wiht it in my hands nervously tapping my foot. I could feel my face starting to get moist from sweat.

"Ni, are you ok?" She asked

"I think so." Um

I smiled uneasily and walked over to Karlee's side of the table sliding in next to her, the ring unnoticeably in my hands.

She gave me a confused smile.

Ok Niall, go. If you love her do it now...
