Rosemary Tea

"You can't be serious! Can't you let that go...so I'm not the best person to trust with food!" Asami complained as Subaru went to open up her front door. She saw Mizuki right of the bat. There was a female with him probably the one he's protecting. She smiled unsure of what she should do.

"Hello Subaru, the chief wanted me to stop by here to see if everything's alright. I've heard that you're protecting Asami, right?" Mizuki eyed inside of Asami's house. Probably confirming what he just asked. The girl behind him was peering in too but she looked confused.

"Yeah I'm protecting Asami. I'll be sure to keep her safe." Subaru answered.

"Mizuki I have some rosemary leaves if you wanted to make some for your friend here." Asami said hoping Subaru doesn't spill about what happened earlier.

"Thank you, Asami. Kendall, would you like some of this tea?"

"Yeah sure. Thank you." Her voice was a little shaky probably from nervousness.

"May we come in?"

"Sure! Come on in! The leaves are in the cupboard!" Asami said. She took a glance at Subaru and she noticed he was a bit irritated since she mention rosemary. "So Kendall, um what's your favorite thing to do?"

"I like to play video games and read..." She spoke in a very quiet voice.

Mizuki chuckled. "You're like a kitten purring like really softly." She kinda looked a bit mad but a smile quickly emerged.

"First you compare me to a panda just because I ate a little too much at lunch, and now I'm a kitten?! Seriously Mizuki?!"

"Hehe, it's fun to tease you since you react like that. You were not quiet that time." He gave a look of amusement and satisfaction that he got her out of her shell a little. Asami honestly thought it was a cute interaction. She never seen that face on Mizuki.

Kendall then looked down shyly, slightly blushing. "Why must you do this to me..?" She mumbled.

Asami just smiled their interactions was cute. Subaru clicked his tongue. Which made Asami glared right at him. 'Don't you dare!' She thought. He just smiled at me. Yeah he knows. Asami  looked back towards Kendall. "I honestly never played and video games...I've normally super busy. I'd have to try it some day!"

Asami watched as Kendall's expression turned to confusion then just shrugged. "How about you? What are your-" She was interrupted when Mizuki handed her tea. "Thank you, Mizuki. What was I saying? Oh right! What about your favorite things to do?" Kendall asked as Mizuki had a spare cup of tea and offered it to me.

"Thank you!" Asami said as she smiled but then she lost it. "Hmm favorite things...I guess I like taking care of flowers. I love it when they bloom! Other than that...I played piano. I can speak and sing in many languages. But I prefer English my piano teacher loved English songs. I looked up to her." Asami said taking a sip of her tea. She did help Asami go into school. So Asami always liked her. She understood her. "Other than that I didn't really have much to try...like Mizuki I was an idol."

"I can speak fluent English, and I was an idol- Wait no- Wait... What?!" Kendall looked completely off guard. She looked back and forth between Mizuki and Asami, then she cleared her throat. "I'm just completely normal person- You were an idol?!" She exclaimed with a mixture of fascination and shocked.

"Yeah but I didn't meet Mizuki in the business. I met him in school! But yeah that's why I need a bodyguard someone doesn't like the idea of me leaving...I'm sure if you turned on the news it be all over it." Asami told her.

"I recently just came here, because I'm a foreign exchange student from America, so I didn't hear about that... Until now. The reason I have a bodyguard is because I saw someone steal something and they saw me witness them doing that, and threatened to kill me for it. Turns out the guy is part of a secret organization that involves nuclear weapons." Kendall let out a sigh. "All I came here for was to study at the university..." She then leaned in towards me, whispering, "But I'm not that upset, my bodyguard is so cute."
