Jace's POV

Those words hurt, well, it wasn't really the words. It was how she said it, and the frightened look on her face. Is she scared of me now? Oh god, I hope not. That would wreck me.  She shifted nervously as we blocked her exit.

"I- uh, didn't mean to, just please don't hate me..please," I pleaded. Never have I once begged for a girls forgiveness. It was always if something didn't work out, move on to the next one. To me, girls were like socks. They could always be replaced, but this wasn't the same with Kayla. She was making me work for her. But, do I care? No. She still hasn't moved. I couldn't;'t take it any longer. Quickly, I grabbed her and carried her out of the bathroom and through to our lunch seats bridal style. At first, she was almost screaming, and slapping me. Then she cooled off and stopped making a scene.

"Jace, put me down, my pants are falling down," she laughed.

"I could take them all the way off for you if you like," I suggested, half serious. She blushed and turned away from me.

"No thanks, I rather have them on."

"That's not what the blushing says," I smirked. Yeah, I was trying to get her going. She was cute when she was mad. I set her down in her seat, then took mine. Kayla brushed her hair out of her face before digging into her bread sticks.

"So where's Alex going to sit," she asked, noticing that this was a table for two.

"The counter over there, or a small table. He said he didn't want to see you mentally stripping me," I shrugged, trying to sound serious. Once again, she blushed and looked down. I was just kidding, why is it taking her so long to answer? Has she really mind stripped me?

"I have never, and will never, mind or any kind of strip you," she replied slowly, "And you better not be mind stripping me."

"Too late Sexy, I already have," I smirked. Her eyes snapped up meeting mine.

  "Y- you have?!"

"Uh, yeah. I'm a guy, its what we do. But only to the special ladies. Like yourself."

"Ew, I can't believe you. Pig," she snorted, then returned to her food. Her face was still a little red, probably embarrassed.

Alex's POV

Watching from a distance as Jace made goo goo eyes at Kayla was pretty damn boring. They finished eating thirty minutes ago, so why the hell are we still sitting here? We could be shopping and looking at Playboy Magazines. While waiting, I came up with some new plans for getting me parents attention. I think one's going to go into action now. I reached in my pocket, pulling out my phone. After shooting a quick text to Jace, I left the cafeteria, headed to the nearest Gothic store.

Once inside, I grabbed one of the belt chains off a rack, and reached in my pocket, switchblade in hand.

"Would this be all sir," the sales lady said politely.

"Give me the money," I answered. She laughed, thinking I was joking, "I said, give me the money." I pulled out the switchblade, opening it to show her the knife. A look of horror spread over her face, making me smirk as she opened the register, handing me hundreds of dollars.

Jace's POV

Soon after Alex left, sirens sounded and all of the security raced in the direct of the noise. Shit, what did he get himself into this time? Me, being my curious self, jumped up out of my seat, and followed behind the  crowd, trying to push my way through. What the hell did he do? Questions flowed in and out of my confused mind as I got close to the scene. Security was everywhere, keeping people away from the stores entrance. They were big guys, but I think I can push past them.
