You're probably wondering who I am and what I'm doing here. If not, at least pretend so that I can feel a little special.

I'm Michelle Jo Quinn, super-fan of all things romance. Having met RebeccaSky last year, and finding out just how much of a sweetheart she truly is, it is with great pleasure that I get to work with her and the rest of The Cheaters Club writers.

How did I get involved in this? There was a conversation...then, BAM! I'm frolicking the Clubland with these talented authors and Holden.

You may now call me one lucky B*tch.

But enough about me, let's chat about my girl, Bryde...

Billionaire Bryde

Have you ever made a decision that would impact your life in a devastating way no matter which direction you go?

It's hard to feel bad for Bryde--she's beautiful, smart and rich. Filthy freaking rich. But three years ago, she left all the luxuries behind and disappeared out of the limelight.

Everything comes in threes, right? Even bad news. Being an heiress to a billion-dollar business doesn't give Bryde immunity.

She returns to New York City upon receiving news about the failing health of the only person who's ever understood her. That same night, she gets information that threatens the Watkins family empire, which then leads her to Bryant Osgoode, the man powerful enough to bring their entire family down to their knees.

No one messes with the devil, especially one dressed impeccably in a bespoke Brioni suit.

It's no surprise that Bryde finds him in The Cheaters Club. However, she didn't expect Bryant's proposition—marry him or watch the Watkins' empire crumble to pieces in his own hands.

Can Bryde risk her heart, her dignity and accept marriage with the man hell-bent on revenge in order to save her family's fortune?

Why didn't it surprise me that I would find him here?

The club's lights changed with the rhythm of the music. I'd never had trouble walking this floor before, even during times I cared about nothing but getting high and drunk and hooking up with socialites and celebrities. Tonight, my knees trembled. Despite this, I kept my head up, and my strides purposeful. There was some recognition from a few people who gawked at me. No one would have expected to see me here, again.

But I was here for a reason.

The man I came to see, had his face buried in a leggy blonde's cleavage, while she straddled him on one of the long loungers, her skirt riding up to show off the flawless skin of her milky-white ass. She tilted her head back and ground her hips on his lap, as one of his hands circled around her tiny waist and the other caressed her exposed behind.

Three years ago, I could have been that girl, and this very thought made me freeze on the spot. Fear lodged itself in my throat. Why didn't I let my father and all ten lawyers we had on retainer deal with this mess?

The fear moved down my gut when a large-built man stepped in front of me.

"This area is private," he warned in a tone meant to put consternation in me.  Too late, buddy

I titled my head slightly to look him straight in the eye.  "I need to talk to Bryant Osgoode."

He crossed his arms and loomed over me, dwarfing my five-foot-nine in five-inch-heels frame. "Not gonna happen."

It would be easy to turn around and return to El Salavador, spend precious time with people who deserved help. But if I learned anything in my three years there, it was to stick with my family. No matter how much they were a pain in my behind.

I squared off my shoulders and lengthened my neck like a prima ballerina. From my purse, I fished out my phone and showed it to the man, who I assumed was Osgoode's bodyguard. "He'd want to see me."

His gaze flickered to my phone then to me. "Stay here." He strode to his boss and his...date, leaned down to inform him of my presence.

Bryant Osgoode didn't lift his head from the girl's cleavage, not instantly.  He trailed kisses up her neck and jaw, and gave her a tap on the bum and then she dismounted him.  The bodyguard waved me forward.  What little amount of information Sam was able to dig about him was enough to stir the loathing in me, and this was enough to have me tamping down every ounce of panic swirling in my gut.  Chin up, I made my way to the man who might have the power to change my entire life.

Once I came face to face with him was a different story altogether...
