CATFISH

chapter ° 3

" We have accepted fear as a part of our life , when we started this thing ! We have gone ahead despite fear from the very first beginning! And it's not a good reason for quitting Lindsey! I mean it's your sis and it's definitely up to you , but it's Our case , and you know that we spent our 10 last years doing these researches.
Now it's not only about you meeting your sister , now it's my Goddamn goal and I'm not quitting until I achieve it. So deal with it , " said Rebecca .

" I'm not quitting , I'm just warning you , because I don't want to see you in danger because of me , " answered Lindsey.

" Oh c'mon stop saying this, and let's get the camera , whoever left the note will see the evil part of me . "

They went to a spy/security equipment store . bought the camera , and went back home to place it on the door.
To find another note saying : [ you both are silly , did you really thought you can capture me with a spying camera! Ha ha . ]

" we really should be scared now ! " Said Lindsey.

"Oh no! Don't get pranked, now I'm sure it's one of our neighbors , they're just trying to scare us and we will show them that we won't , but I'm going to tell the cops about it , you know .. just in case . "

" Okay ! you go , and I'll read the guidelines of this camera , " said Lindsey .

Few minutes after Rebecca's leaving , Lindsey has heard a noise in the bathroom , she took a knife from the kitchen and went to check on it . But she didn't find anything intersting, it was only the bathroom's window .

" ah there's nothing thanks god , I'll wash my face and sleep a bit , maybe I'm just hallucinating. "

She has turned around to the mirror , and all of a sudden a weird face appeared on the mirror so she screamed
" Holly shit what was that "
" No matter who you are , please stop scaring me and ... "
And then she suddenly has fainted on the bathroom's ground for about an hour .

Rebecca has finally came home . she was knocking on the door but no one has answered , so she grabbed the keys and opened to herself and entered.

" Lindsey! Lindsey! I'm back ! If your in the kitchen, please bring me something to eat I'm starving "
"Hello~ "

Yet no one has answered .
She went to the kitchen ,but no one was there , so she went to the bathroom , and found Lindsey lying on the floor unconscious.
She started crying because she knew something wrong has happened .
" Lindsey wake up please , Lindsey can you hear me ! "
Said Rebecca while checking on Lindsey , there was no blood or bruises. ..
She ran and grabbed her phone, called the 911 , gave them the adress, and sat by her side crying and whining : " sorry Lindsey, I'm sorry because I left you home alone even though I knew you could be in danger , after the last threatening letters "

the ambulance came and took them both to the hospital.
