Together Again

Riley's POV (Saturday) Penelope 🔝
We've been back for about two weeks and Lucas wants to talk to me today so we're meeting at the beach. I put my swim suit on then got my phone and my beach bag and go get Penelope ready since I'm 'babysitting' her. We make it and I see him waiting for me.
"Hey Riley. Hi Penelope."
"Hey Lucas."
"So come this way." We walk down the beach to an area where nobody is near and there's a picnic blanket and basket with an umbrella to make sure Penelope won't get burnt. He would be a great dad Riley snap back into reality.
"Lucas this is beautiful."
"Your beautiful." We sit down on the blanket then we start talking.
"So Riley I was thinking now that since your back maybe we could get back together because I still love you."
"I still love you too and I would love too."
"This is great I've missed us being together."
"Me to." After they eat he asked
"What time is it?" I take out my phone,
"It's 12:38."
"I got to go I promise my mom I'd be home eight minutes ago. I have to pick this up and everything."
"I can stay and help."
"No Penelope's getting tired just look at her eyes. She's tired so go, I'll be okay."
"Okay well bye." He gives me a hug and kiss and gives Penelope a kiss on the head.
"Bye Lucas." I walk home and once I get there I see moms home.
"Where were you Riley?"
"At the beach with Lucas."
"Did you do anything?"
"No of course not first we were in public, second our daughter was there."
"You didn't tell him?"
"No, but why can't I. I want to tell him he has a daughter. I want her to grow up with her father and I want her to call me mommy and not you. What happens if she grows up knowing you as her mother then when I move out and want to take her with me I wouldn't be able to because she thanks your her mother. I love him we're back together. I want to get married one day to him!"
"If you tell him Riley you are not welcome here anymore."
"What?"
"I'm not going to be known as the mother that let her daughter get pregnant at 14!"
"That's what your worried about. If you kick me out your never going to see your granddaughter again!"
"You can't do that."
"Yes I can she's my daughter." I storm off to my room with Penelope in my arms. She's starts waking up and crying and I know she's hungry. I walk to kitchen grab her drink and some food and head back to the room. As I'm feeding her Maya comes through the window.
"Hey Riles."
"Hey."
"What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing just got in a fight with my mom."
"About?"
"I can't tell you. I want to but I can't."
"I'm your best friend."
"I know I wish I could but I need to tell you something."
"What?"
"Me and Lucas got back together."
"Really I'm really happy for you."
"I'm happy for you and Zay too."
"How did you know?"
"Just they way you too act around each other it's so obvious."
"Really it's that obvious."
"Yeah it is. But I'm glad you found someone."
"So am I."
"Well do you mind if I stay here tonight moms not home and I'm hungry."
"Sure you know my parents don't care."
That night we caught up on things and hung out all night until we fell into a deep sleep.
