Maya's POV
I wake up this morning to find no Riley but a note.
Went out to get something from Topangas's be back soon - Riley & Penelope
I decided to walk down to Topangas's after getting dressed. I have to go to the restroom and when I get in there I heard a voice that sounded like Riley's. So, I go into a stall so she can't see me.
"Hey baby girl, mommy loves you."   Then I hear a bit of baby gibberish
"We really need to work with your words. But come on lets go."
Mom what Riley can't be Penelope's mother. I run out the bathroom and back to there house and decide how to approach her about this. About 15 minutes later she comes through the door and she hands me my food
"Riley I have a question?"
"What is it?"
"Is Penelope your daughter?" She froze not knowing what to say.
"What no?"
"Riley I heard you in the bathroom at Topangas's so don't lie to me."
"Yes okay she is but you can't say anything or my mom will kick me out."
"You got to tell Lucas, it's not fair to him."
"I want to I really do, but mom said if I tell him she'll kick be out of the house."
"But Riley what if you tell him, and you two keep it a secret that he knows."
"That's a great idea Maya."
"You need to tell him today. So text him saying that you and Penny are coming over,  Then tell him your plan."
"What would I do without you?"
"I have no clue." She got Penelope dressed for me while I got ahold of Lucas. He replied straight away. I give Maya a hug and rush out the door. I check to make sure I got everything diaper bag check, phone check, purse check, what am I missing oh right my kid. I head back in and Maya's got her in the stroller ready to go.
"Thanks Maya."
"No problem." Then I take off this time knowing I got everything important. I get there and use the key Lucas gave me.
"Hey Lucas."
"Hi Riley come sit in the living room." I go in and sit down. Penelope is trying to walk she can its just she falls a lot.
"What is it you needed to tell me?"
"Okay remember that night me and you slept together before I left."
"Yeah why?"
"Well let's say Penelope isn't my sister and she's ours ."
"So let me get this straight what your saying is she's our daughter."
"Yeah and if you don't want us in your life."
"Stop right there. I lost you once and I'm not going to let it happen again."
"So your staying."
"Of course."
"But there's one thing. We can't tell anyone your her father or I'm her mother because mom convinced me to give her up for adoption before we left. We moved temporarily so, I could have her and then no one would know. But when they handed her to me I couldn't give her away so I made a promise that if anyone asked she's my sister. I have a plan, we can just come over all the time, that way she gets to know you and you get to know her."
"Yeah that's a great idea. It's going to be so weird being called daddy." I pick her up and sit her in Lucas's lap.
" hi Penny I'm your daddy and I just want to say that your one of the best things that has happened to me I my only be sixteen but your a part of me now and I love you. Riley you know what makes since now the blonde hair green eyes."
"She's another you."
"I have a feeling she's going to be a daddy's girl already."
"Yeah." We played and had fun the whole day today. Lucas will be a great father he changes her diapers played with her and now he's putting her to sleep for her nap. Soon there both asleep and so am I. When I wake I start freaking out Penelope's not in Lucas's arms. Some how we stretched out and Lucas's arms are around me pulling me close.
"Lucas wake up."
"What?"
"Where's Penelope?"
"My moms home she probably took her."
"Oh okay but can we stay like this for a little longer."
"Yeah." We stayed like this for another 20 minutes till Lucas mom (Jody) can in the room with Penelope telling us it was time to eat. We get up then Penelope reaches for Lucas.
"What did I tell you?" Lucas says. They make there way to the kitchen as I go to get her food another diaper. I walk in and go to take her from Lucas then she starts to cry. Then I whispered "Here you go daddy." And he whispered back "Alright Mommy." He took off and we begin to eat.
"So Riley long time no see."
"I know."
"I'm glad your back together Lucas seems two times happier."
"He does?"
"Yeah he told me you two got back together."
"We did and I'm really happy. If you don't mind me asking where's Mr.Friar?"
"He's in Texas Pappy Joe had a twister down there so he went to help and repair. Lucas was going to but he heard you were coming back and he didn't want to miss you coming back." Then Lucas comes back and we all eat, say our goodbyes then head home. I give Penelope a bath then we head to bed.
