One Mistake

Monica and I wake up in the morning and we go downstairs to find us something for breakfast.  I decide I will make be nice and make breakfast for everyone.  Monica helps me make some pancakes and eggs.  As I am finishing up the bacon the boys finally come downstairs rubbing their eyes.  "So they wake up to the smell of food and finally decide to come and join us downstairs huh?"  I smirk a little and laugh, "Oh shut up Kortney.  We stayed up late last night.  It didn't help that you two were next door gossiping till sunrise."  I roll my eyes and grab a coffee cup out of the cabinet for Chase as he is always crabby when he wakes up in the morning.  I fill it up and hand it to him, "Here Mr. Happy."  Monica can't help but laugh when I call him that.  "Thanks Kort...You actually did something right."  He says half jokingly.  I finish up the food and I set the table putting all the food out for everyone to serve themselves.  We all sit down at the table and dig into the food that I slaved to make.  "So.  Me and Monica are planning on going to the mall and doing some shopping them heading over to meet our friends at Jake's party.  Are you guys coming?  Jake told me it would be awesome if you guys would come."  I say happily really wanting to see Jake as we haven't seen each other in a few days.  "I could use a party."  Nick says looking over at me and smiling, "Tell Jake thanks for inviting me."  Chase looks over at him, "What about our plans we had for tonight?  We were gonna have a man's night over at Isaac's house."  Nick shrugs and smiles, "Man I love you...but I don't have to follow you around like a lost dog all the time."  Me and Monica crack up laughing and I smile as I put my hand over my mouth not wanting to make my brother feel bad by doing that.  He rolls his eyes and smiles, "Alright whatever man.  I will just go and hang out with them by myself.  You will look like that bad friend at the end of the night when you don't show up."  He shrugs, "Well it looks like I am gonna be that bad friend then.  Besides.  I have to go just to make sure Monica keeps herself out of trouble and doesn't drink too much."  Monica looks over at him offended.  "Ohh whatever.  You'll have to control yourself before you worry about me."  We listened to them banter back and forth all through breakfast them me and Monica go upstairs to get dressed and go to the mall. 

Nick's P.O.V

 Honestly, I feel like I am lying through my teeth because I know Monica can control herself and keep herself out of trouble, but it is Kortney I am worried about.  I know Chase doesn't trust her boyfriend and I don't either.  I at least owe it to Chase to go and make sure he doesn't try to do anything to Kortney.  Also I want to keep her safe for my own satisfaction.  I really like her I just don't know how to tell her or when.  Hopefully soon. 

Kortney's P.O.V

Me and Monica finished up at the mall and decided to head over to Jake's house.  When we get there I run inside to go and find him.  When I find him I sneak behind him and wrap my arms around his neck smiling, "Guess who?"  I say and he whips himself around and has a huge smile on his face.  "Hey sexy.  You're looking really good right now."  I smile and bite my lip a little smiling as he takes my hand and pulls my body to his and kisses me deeply and rough.  I can already tell by his breath that he has already drank quiet a bit, "You want a drink?"  I nod and he pulls me into the kitchen pouring me a drink.  I take a sip as we stand there and talk a little, "Cmon.  I wanna show you something."  I smile and set my drink on the counter as he pulls me up the stairs spilling his drink all the way up the stairs.  He pulls me into his room and only closes the door halfway.  "What did we need to come up here for?  Did you just want some alone time?  I know it has been a while, but I have been really busy with work and filling out stuff for college."  He didn't say a word.  He just stared at me and walked toward me,  "Babe?  Are you alright?"  I back away a little and he reaches out and pulls me against him, "Yea..I just really want you....I love that outfit on you."   *START LISTENING TO SONG NOW.  I FEEL IT REALLY MAKES THIS PART MUCH MORE INTENSE HOW I IMAGINE IT* I smile a little flattered, but I feel the grip around me tighten and I really don't like it.  Before I knew it he was kissing me really deep and rough.  His hand was at the back of my neck and pushing my face into his.  I felt us quickly walking backward towards the bed.  He starts kissing down my neck and tries getting my shirt off, "Jake.  Please stop.  I'm not ready.  We just talked about this last time."  He didn't stop, "Jake Please. You're scaring me."  He pulls up and looks down into my eyes.  He brings his hand up and slaps me across my face making me yelp.  "Cmon.  It will only hurt for a second."  I try pushing him off of me, but he is way to strong.  "Stop!  Jake please!"  At this point I am in tears and I try my hardest to get him off of me.  He starts trying to take my pants off, but them in a flash Jake is knocked off top of me.  I sit up reaching frantically for my shirt and I see Nick standing there.  "Are you ok?"  He says reaching a hand out to me.  I shake my head just in shock and I take his hand not able to think.  "Cmon.  Let's get you home."  I shake my head as we are walking down the hall, "No.  Don't take me home.  I don't want Chase seeing me like this.  He will come and kill him."  He looks at me like I am crazy, "You're lucky I didn't kill him."  We get out to the car and he opens up the door of his car for me, "Fine.  I'll take you to my apartment until we get you cleaned up and calmed down." As he started to drive I just watch out the window as I feel things starting to crumble around me as I can't help it and I break down in his car crying not able to hold it in anymore.
