Harker began to walk home. It was a difficult task keeping the bike steady while holding a game system, headset, and video game. He trudged along slowly, having to stop quite frequently to re-balance his load.

Kyle sat down in an empty chair. His dyed red hair dropped into his face, stinging his blue eyes. His jacket, while completely unnessesary, clung to his skin, which was a light amber color.
The LoadStar Vr Arcade was not a very popular one, though it had a couple of good games, and three different booths with interchangable games. One such booth was for the Duadolus System, a VR system which immersed the user through use of gloves and a headset, not the most advanced, though the cheapest available.
Sitting next to Kyle was his younger brother Phillip, who was easily a mirror copy of Kyle, granted, they were seven years apart, and Phillip was much shorter than Kyle.
"I want to try that game." Phillip pointed towards a poster for Eternia Online the was being put up by the manager.
"Maybe another day, I doubt that they even have a booth set up for it yet."
"But the poster says it's here!" Phillip pleaded on with his brother.
Kyle sighed, "Fine, I'll pay for one hour."
Phillip squeeled with delight.
"For both of us to play, of course."
Kyle walked over to the register, Phillip following close behind.
"Two booths for Eternia Online, one hour please."
"That'll be forty-five dollars and thirty cents please."
Kyle handed the woman behind the counter the last of his money and walked over to the booths pointed out by the woman.
"You have to promise not to whimp out."
"Promise!"
Kyle helped his brother into the VR set, then he walked over to his booth and set himself up.

Kyle opened his eyes to be greeted by a NPC.
"Hello, welcome to Eternia Online. This is the character setup, please standby."
"Okay, whatever."
Kyle decided to sit down in the gray template land that surrounded him.
"Sure is bland he-"
Suddenly the area around him transformed into a lush green pasture with a mountain in the distance, and a forest to his right.
"I take that back."
The NPC, which was now more identifiably a female, returned.
"Character Setup commences now"
