Chapter 2

Bumblebee's POV

Jack, Raf and Miko arrived around 7:45am. They saw us and freaked out. Oh man you should've seen their faces. It was priceless! Once Arcee saw Jack she lightened up a bit. She's also probably actually awake now. "Bumblebee, if you're a human, how're you gonna drive me to school? You can't transform now and you don't just have a car." Rad asks me. Um we could maybe bridge them? Wait school? Hmm... I've got a plan. I grab out my note pad and start writing down my idea. I hand to Optimus and he reads it out loud. "If the deceptions weren't turned into humans, we can't fight them. So we'd have nothing to do today. But, we are Jack, Raf and Miko's guardians meaning being by their side as much as possible. And since we resemble humans now, we could maybe go to school with them as their guardians and protect them there as well. We're their guardians so we need to protect them from everything not just deceptions. Besides, it would be kinda cool to see what a human school is like." Optimus finishes. Everyone looks like they're thinking about the idea. "Well," Jack starts, "there is the kid, Vince at school. He's a bully, almost similar to a human version of Megatron only less... Evil. Maybe the boys could knock some sense into him or at least keep him away from us. He's a real jerk." He suggests. Miko and Raf agree. Optimus thinks it over. "Well... I guess you can go. But you have to stay out of trouble and listen to the human children. You wouldn't want something to go totally wrong or break a human law." Optimus says. Bulkhead, Arcee and I share a look of success and eagerness. Oh I am so pumped right now! Woo hoo! Ratchet just stares at Optimus. "Wait, you're actually saying yes to this absurd, crazy and extremely dangerous idea?! Honestly Optimus, Bumblebee came up with it there's no way it's a smart idea!" He argues. Optimus merely glances at Ratchet giving him "the look". Ratchet backs down immediately though it's obvious he'd do anything to keep us from going. He starts up the groundbridge and we walk through hoping it doesn't pop up right in the middle of everyone.

We exit the bridge to find we're in an empty alley way next to the school. Perfect. Hopefully no one saw us come out of it. We exit the alley and walk towards the entrance of the building. "Wait, how're you guts planning on making sure the teachers think you're new students. You're not registered at the school or on any of the attendance lists." Miko points out. Wow, there's a loophole in my plan. As usual. Arcee just gives us all a look and raised her arms. Oh no. She's gonna use her power. So I forgot to mention, Arcee has these powers. They're really weird and are supposed to be kept for emergencies but I guess we kinda need to break that rule for today. Her hands glow blue, then purple. She puts her hands together and a single ray of the purple energy shoots yo in the air. She then says " we need to come up with disguise names." Bulkhead becomes Barry, Arcee names herself Aria and my name is now Blaze. She finds out what classes the other three have and she finished her spell thing. The beam of energy shoots down onto the school and for a second the whole thing glows purple. Then it goes back to normal. And not a single person notices anything. We all walk inside and the schools principle walks up to us. "I assume you three are the new students?" He says. He's half bald with brown hair, glasses, a blue suit and a purple and grey polka dot tie. "Yes, we are." Answers Bulkhead. The principle examines us and stops when he gets to me. "Young man why is your sweater covering your face?" Oh scrap he's asking me a question. Um, note pad. Where's my notepad?! I grab it and write my response. "I can't talk." He reads aloud. He looks at me sternly. He obviously doesn't understand. I. Am. Mute! I can't speak whatsoever get that through your thick little human skull please and thank you! "Why not? Listen young man I don't want to be making you feel unwelcome on your first day so I advise you give me a proper answer." He says. Oh for the love of primus what do I have to do to make him realize?! I just stare at him with an unamused expression on my face. Yeah, I'm staring him down. He looked like he was getting really angry when Arcee stepped in. "I'm sir, with all due respect Blaze is a mute. He can't speak just like he said on the note pad. He can't answer you." Thank you Arcee you are the best! He puts on a "hard at thought" face and I silently laugh to myself. What's there to think about? Oh well. "I'm sorry to hear that and I apologize for getting angry. Although being mute is not a good enough reason for you to be breaking my rules so please pull the hoodie down. Thank you." I very reluctantly pull the hoodie down from the bottom of my face. Jeez he's strict. He reminds me of Ultra Magnus. A lot. He hands the three of us a sheet of paper. "This is your schedule for the rest of the year. Good luck on your first day here. I hope you like it." He then turns his back to us and walks off. I pull out my notepad and write down "jeez what's up his ass? My eyes aren't covered shouldn't that be good enough?" They all laugh at that. "Sorry Bee, he's a really strict man. Some of his rules are a little... Excessive." Says Jack. We all look at each other. "Like what?" Asks Bulkhead. "Well, for starters, girls and boys have to be 7 feet away from each other at all times after the bell. He hates relationships and doesn't want to see a single hand touching hand at all during school. Not even if you're like, best friends. So Jack and I always have to talk with Miko from halfway across the hall." Says Raf. "Dude, those rules are messed up." Says Arcee. We all bid our heads in agreement. "Hey dudes the bell is gonna ring soon. We should make sure everything is right." Points out Miko. "Good thinking" says Jack. We all check our papers to make sure everything went okay with Arcee's magical thing. And it did. I'm with Raf all day. Sweet!
