I woke up with the sun in my eyes and Cheyenne in my arms damn if only I could reverse time and be able to erase her memory of her brother. “Cheyenne wake up; we have to get ready for school.”
“No, five more minutes dad.” I picked her up and threw her on the bed again. Instantly she woke up. “What the hell was that for Grimmjow?”
I grinned. “Notin’ just wanted to wake you up.” She got up and went to her room, I got in the hot water shower, when I finished I got changed and waited for her to come out.
“Why are you waiting for me?” she asked.
“Did you already forget what day it is today?” I thought I would forget Valentine’s Day, but her I can’t believe it I thought all females remembered!
“What a birthday,” she checked her calendar on her phone and gasped. “Really, Valentine’s Day is today!” I nodded ‘duh!’ “I’m so sorry that I forgot to get you anything.”
“Nah, don’t worry about it. But first close your eyes.” She did and I put three Hersey’s kisses in her hand with a heart on them. She opened her eyes and hugged me. “I told you it was nothing.” I pulled her off and we were separated by the cars again.
ULQUIORRA
Great, the worst day of the year Valentine’s Day. I wonder what Neliel is going to do this time for Kurosaki. I got outside to see Grimmjow and Cheyenne acting love struck. “If you mind we have an education to go to.” I said interrupting their love fest.
“Cock blocker.” I heard Grimmjow whisper and ignored it.
Damn this is the worst part. When we reached school all the girls from our side were screaming my name just ‘cause they say I’m the sexiest guy in the gang. All the girls were closing in on me when I felt someone grab my arm. “This way, if you don’t want to get murdered by your fan girls.” Cheyenne said I followed her to the courtyard where none of the girls found me.
“Thanks,”
“Don’t mention it.” I rubbed her hair like an older brother and she pulled it away. “You may be my age but you’re still like a brother.”
“I know, and so are the others besides Starrk and Grimmjow am I correct?”
“Yeah, Starrk is more of an annoying step brother, and Grimmjow…”
“Is a lover instead of a brother.” I put in she blushed cheery red.
“Well, the bell is about to ring it got to go to my violin class.” I nodded and left for Spanish.
CHEYENNE
I entered my strings class and saw I was the first again. Then Mr. Sasakibe entered. “Ah, Ms. Urahara have you been practicing the violin?”
“Yes of course I been practicing sir, I never forget.” I said truthfully.
“Then, tune your instrument and play Beethoven’s ninth symphony Ode to Joy.” I bowed as a response of ‘yes’ and tuned my violin, then started playing. It told a beautiful tale of the snow falling and landing on the ground. It lasted 3 minutes and 21 seconds, once I finished he started to cry. “Oh my, such beautiful music, and on a day filled with romance. Cheyenne you will be first chair violin.”
“Thank you sir it will be a pleasure to do so.”
“But there is one thing that must be done first, and that is try to be better than Byakuya Kuchiki he plays at the same level as you.” Damn! I forgot about him. Suddenly he entered the room. “Ah, one of my star students you have competition to become first chair.” He informed Kuchiki.
