Eliseo lifted his nostrils up to the sky, inhaling the strong scent of pinecones and woods. A sense of satisfaction and comfort bloomed within him. He sighed in content. The sound of the leaves rubbing against one another from the slight breeze. The hoots from the owls, and the cricket cricketing along. The scenery is breathtaking.

Everything is peaceful.

That is, until a scream of terror echoed throughout the woods. It sounded animalistic, a wolf cry. He immediately set into a slight crouch position, ready for a fight. His hands curled into a tightening fist, making his knuckles white. His feet were shoulder length apart and was shifted a bit vertically. His jaw tensed as he narrowed his eyes to look around his surroundings. A flock of birds flew from the direction where the scream came from.

His mind was flashing warning signals. Still standing in one place, he growled frustratingly from his wondering thoughts.

Should I go toward that sound? What if someone needs help? Or perhaps is stuck? He grimaced as he mentally shook his head disapprovingly, nonsense. Who in the right mind would do that. Much less, think that. Relaxing his body, he sharply turn to his left, walking away from where the noise was heard. Although, he still kept himself alerted and aware of his surroundings, just in case.

Eliseo then stopped in his track. He was developing a feeling that he shouldn't get away from there. He felt like he should go back and help whoever was in need of help. Closing his eyes tightly, he looked up at the moon. Silently cursing to himself while doing so. Even though his brain was telling him to turn away, his guts, along with something within him, was telling him to help whoever was in danger. Gritting his teeth, he swiftly turned his body around. Glaring murderously at the direction he was planning to walk away from a moment ago. He walked toward the way to his possibly death.

Another scream was erupted. This time, it sounded feminine. A scream of terror.

He started running toward the source of the screaming. It sounded heartbreaking. Painful.

Getting closer to the source, he hesitated a moment before he move a branch that will reveal the female in pain. He furrowed his eyebrows. Curiosity and confusion was presented in his eyes. Nobody was next to her, nor on her.

Eliseo's eyes widen in surprise as a realization came by, the girl before him was naked as the day she was born. He shook his head as he ran up to her, getting down to his knees. Getting his clothes dirty was the least of his worry at this moment.

The abandoned girl was whimpering in pain. Eliseo kept his eyes away from the exposed private body parts. Brushing away the soil and leaves from the girl's body to inspect any wounds.

He moved the girl's body to face upward, her back on the ground. The girl's body was icy cold beneath his fingertips, yet it tingled with warmth. Biting the inside of his cheek as he saw the deep claw marks on her pale torso. It was bleeding a lot.

As soon as he touched the wound to try to hold its bleeding, the girl yelped in pain. Eliseo's jaw tensed as he pulled away quickly. He felt that he felt a bit of her pain if he hurt her. Why? I've seen others going through worst and I didn't felt anything. Why her? Eliseo thought to himself. Every once in awhile he looked up to see if anyone was nearby.

With his clean hand, he cupped her face as he tried to make her look at him. His warm hand made her rub her face into it. She was trying to get as much warmth on her as much as she could. Eliseo pressed his lips together, furrowing his eyebrows together. He spoke quiet, yet loud enough for her to hear.
