Blinking her heterochromia iridium eyes open, she squinted them from the sharp sunlight shinning from the window. Eliseo got up and closed the curtains to sooth her eyes from burning.

Eliseo walked back to his chair by the fireplace. The one he sat on, waiting for the girl to wake up from her slumber a while ago. Before he could sit down, the girl slowly sat up, the jacket still perched on her shoulders. He sent a single glance at her tiring figure as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. He went out of the living room, and into his room.

Coming back to the room where the dark haired beauty was looking around. He handed her a dark colored shirt to her, she glanced at Eliseo in a surprise expression. Surprised at the way he was treating her as. A small grateful smile was presented on her face for a second before it disappeared. Yet, it was still there, shinning through her colorful eyes.

She shrugged off his coat, then putting on his shirt. Eliseo sharply turned away, the back of his neck bloomed with embarrassment to his ears. Although, his eyes burned with anger. Anger for what he saw on her skin.

Painful scars engraving on her skin. Mainly her back. Shaking that thought away as he question himself. Why am I being so overprotective and concern for this random girl?

Clearing his throat he turns around to see the girl looking down confusingly. She was looking down at her right shoulder being bared from the shirt being oversized on her. Readjusting them, only for the other side to repeat the action. She sighed, giving up. Putting her hands neatly down on her lap, she look up to see Eliseo giving her an amusing look.

She open her mouth to speak, only the words to die in her throat. Looking down sheepishly, she waited for him to speak.

Eliseo took that chance to speak, as he narrowed his eyes at her. "Why did you call me mate?" She sharply turn her head to the side, disbelief crosses her features. She then looked uncomfortable, like she wasn't suppose to be there.

He look straight into her eyes as she stutters to explain. "Um.. Uh. A... Uh... Huh?" Shaking her head, she lifted her chin and looked at him. Her voice was modulated soothing voice, but then as she spoke, her confidence faded away at the thought of him not knowing what a mate is.

"Do you not know what a mate is, really?" Her eyes soften as tears brimmed to the corner of her eyes. Threatening to spill. Eliseo widen his eyes as he grow nervous and panicky at the sight of a women tearing up.

Hesitating as he sat down next her, he opened his mouth to speak, but the words died down his throat. Nervous that he will make the beauty in front of him cry. He then shook his head, "No, I don't know what's a mate is. Is it something important to Werewolves?" Curiosity laced in his tone.

"Yes." She whispered, looking down at her fingers on her lap. Twiddling her thumbs and forefingers to each other, Eliseo dipped his head closer to her. "Please do explain." Anticipation and curiosity was clearly shown in his eyes.

The girl lifted one of her eyebrows, confused on why he was so excited to know more about werewolves. I thought he was a werewolf...? She thought to herself. Eliseo stiffened when she unexpectedly tilted her head toward his neck, breathing in his scent. He clenched his jaw, feeling... Wanting to do things he never had set his mind to do before to the girl before him. Before he could grasp the girl's waist, she backed off back to her previous position.

Tilting her head to the side, "You're something else." She said. Eliseo grumbled as he laid his chin on the palm of his hand when his arm is on his knee, "Yeah, I noticed." Shaking her head, "No, well, like you are not exactly a werewolf... Kind of. Its just... You're just.." Letting out a frustration sigh as she tries to make sense.
