That fall was pretty fun.
My older sister Portia was getting ready to marry her ugly boyfriend, Jonathan, so Brienna set her up with another guy, a hotter guy, Justin, in October. He was British and very attractive. He went to Indiana and Kentucky with us the following day.
We went to Indiana first and had fun at my aunt and uncle's mansion with my cousins. Some of my imaginary friends had gone with us, and I had a great time with them, too. We got to go to the zoo and walk around, looking at the animals. I also got to watch my younger siblings and my cousins ride the carousel.
We went to Kentucky after that, and we didn't stay there long, with my other aunt, uncle, and cousins, but I still couldn't wait to tell Dana all about it.
During that fall break, we also went to a village with my grandparents, and we got to see lots of old, country things, and pretty scenery. Dana sounded like she really liked hearing about all my adventures and what my imaginary friends and siblings were doing. There was always drama with someone. We couldn't even go to the pool without my twin sister Brienna beating up one of our friends (Marina).
Dana was of great help when there was a problem at school with my imaginary best friend Madeline and our new friend, Payton. Madeline was upset that I was hanging out with Payton more than her, and she seemed like she hated Payton. So I told Dana about it and she sent some DMs to Mady on my Twitter account asking her why she hated Payton. She was so nice about it, too, and she told Mady all about how much I talked about her and how I would always mention how Madeline and I were BFF. That seemed to help Madeline feel better, and I did, too. Dana was a good friend to have around.
She was also supportive when we talked about how Grandma was dying of cancer, and it made her sad, too, because she knew how close I was to both of my grandparents and how often my siblings and friends and I went to their house. I knew I could always talk to Dana to make me feel better.
My friends Amanda and Basma, who I'd also met on Twitter, were friends with Dana, too. I would see them talking to her sometimes and be happy that they were getting along. Dana was so, SO friendly to everyone she talked to online. She would always be so cheerful and never in a bad mood (at least not on Twitter). I'd never met anyone like that before, but it was nice to have a friend who was always cheerful and was interested in everything I said.
She even hated One Direction and Justin Bieber and joined my "hate clubs" for them, just so we could vent about them. (It was also really nice to know I wasn't friends with one of those 1D or JB obsessed fangirls. I hate fangirls.) Dana was happy to join my La Roux fan club, too, which wasn't some crazy fangirl club, either. She said she was happy to join any group I made.
Now I knew I really had a lot in common with my new friend, and I didn't feel like we were going to argue a whole lot. We were meant to be good friends.
