Doesn't change much right? We are still here, it is still too late, and they are still too well protected for us to get the money they have made killing our - indeed the vast majority of - species. All they had to do was get the atmospheric concentration of CO2 above 350 parts per million and the earth would retain enough heat to stop the ice sheets from marching out once the earth got too far from the sun. The same people are guilty. And the same people have the best chances to survive the next hundred years - the one's with the money to build the vaults that will keep them safe while the climate goes mad. Welcome to the future of humanity. Assholes. (pause for laughter)
Being happy now a days doesn't make any sense. Sure, it is still possible to find joy, and to do good things. Still possible to live the moral life and achieve contentment, express your love for life and for the force that made it all just so. But being happy? Come one. Humans have proved themselves to be just like any other creature - mindless expansion to the limits of our environment, the makers of our own collapse. Art, love, life, all being eliminated - because the spectacle was so entrancing? Because propaganda was so effective? Doesn't matter does it? We know we rely on the natural world. We have killed the natural world. It is in the process of dying. We based our society on competition and greed. Being well adjusted to this society is a sign of deep pathology. But those people won't be drugged into submission. No, the ones who feel it and get depressed, those are the ones drugged into submission. Because they are the problem? Because they are the ones driving us off a cliff? No, because you are supposed to be happy and balanced and sane. How could anyone be all three of those things right now?
Why is the world turning fascist? Why can you get away with protesting now, with saying whatever you want on TV? Why is a socialist running for president and winning? Why are food prices going up? Easy. The game is up, the elites have won, and they just don't give a fuck about controlling us anymore.
Where you hoping for a solution? Fuck you. There is no more hope. Just the end.
