The Rock Show (A danisnotonfire Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

-Mia's POV -

I wake up to some texts from my friends an annoyingly also one from my ex that ignore. But I also have a text from Dan. 

Dan: Hey Ally it was nice to see you yesterday :). If your sister still wants tickets we could meet for a coffee and I could give them to you ;)

A winky face... oh my god. But he probably didn't mean anything by it.

Mia: Sure that would be fun. Now?

Dan: I'm free. Which coffe shop?

Mia: There's a starbucks next to the place where the concert was... we could meet there in 20 minutes

Dan: 20 minutes are good. See you there than :)

I do my makeup and put on black skinny jeans and a grey Dropdead sweatshirt. I was the one that said 20 minutes and I thought I'd make it in time but 22 minutes have already passed. Luckily I don't live far away from the Starbucks so I'll only be 5 minutes late. I'm sure Dan won't mind.

Mia: Hi sorry I'm a little bit late.

Dan: It's alright. Only 5 minutes.

- Dan's POV -

We get our coffees and sit down outside because the weather is very nice. We have a little bt of awkward small talk, the conversation is awkward becuase of me not because of Mia who has no problem with having a conversation. 

Dan: I've got VIP tickets for your sister. Do you want a ticket too?

Mia: What so I can take a selfie with you? 

Dan: No so you can see the show and your sister won't be alone.

Mia: Oh thak you. Seriosuly thank you so much. That's extremly nice of you and it means so much to Emily. 

Dan: No problem.

Mia: So what are you doing today?

Dan: We haven't really planned anything.

Mia: That's perfect! I could show you some tourist favourites and my personal favourite places and you can bring your friend.

Well that sounds great. I get to spend more time with her and might get to know her a little bit better. I'm glad I don't really have to be the person that asks er out. Because I'm way too awkward and insecure to ask anyone out. And it's 2016 it's not like the guy has to ask the girl out anymore.
Of course I like Phil but I'd kind of prfered to be alone with her so it's more like a date. I know this coffe date probably isn't a date either but I kind of want it to be one. 

Dan: Thank you I'd love to see the city and I'm sure Phil wants to as well.

Mia: Yay when do you have time?

Dan: All day we didn't plan anything.

Mia: That's great. Uh you have my number just text me and I'll pick you up.
