Inc was speechless, all this information he was taking in was over whelming him; massively.
"I understand this is a lot for you to take in...but I'm afraid we need to go NOW." Mr Lucem's voice sharp and crisp, making Inc worry more of what was to come.
"Why exactly?" Inc had so many buzzing questions, although he knew they were probably going to be answered soon.
"You have untouched power and displaying them can draw the wrong attention. I will explain further as we leave..." With that Mr Lucem turned around, his coat flapping as he briskly walked away.
Inc quickly followed in pursuit "So....are there others like me?"
"Yes, indeed there are many others like you as I showed you the many tinted crystals imbedded in my chest..." The tension in Mr Lucem's voice was clearly noticeable.
" Well doesn't it hurt or do something to you, those being in your chest?" Sliding through several corridors and into the sunlight, Inc and Mr Lucem approached a black 4-wheel drive BMW with tinted mirrors.
"Yes I am immortal and bear the drain of having the crystals imbedded in me. You see, to keep the crystals from becoming dormant, they need to have energy and since they are attached to me; I am that energy. Ever since this role was passed down to me I have had to deal with the sacrifice..." Mr Lucem started the car as Inc clambered in, he drove out the car park and onto the main road.
"Wow, so you have been around for a long time...ok so where are the others?" Inc's pressed on with the questions although he felt like he was some small child learning something.
"They are in my apartment building, they train and try to harness there powers. This is what you will be doing soon." Inc's face grew with worry as he felt just like the new kid again. Everyone else had their place and Inc had to try and fit in somewhere.
"Oh, cool. Will I be able to harness my power?" Inc tried to act as if he was in control, although he knew Mr Lucem saw straight through it.
"Yes you will, I only needed to find and tell you at the right time. The others either had no family or lived abroad so it took a while to bring them all together. You will find out more when I show you the Naturam Prophetiae." Mr. Lucem's face was stern and concentrated on the road as they turned into the apartment building's underground parking.
"Ok...I'm not going to even begin to ask what that is..." As the car stopped, Mr Lucem got out and began to walk towards a flight of stairs; Inc dreaded the walk as the stairs came into his sight.
They both reached the stairs and began climbing. Inc tried to think of what had happened in the space of an hour; he had learned that apparently his whole life had just been swept under the carpet and only found out today. He was supposed to be this magnificent 'sorcerer' who made fire with a click of his finger.
Abruptly, Mr Lucem made a quick turn into a corridor and Inc was amazed; the intricate swirls and etches in the walls, floors and ceilings were stunning. Inc began to notice patterns in the wall...different symbols in all the swirls.
Fire...Water...Earth...Air...Darkness? Fire seemed to be scorched, water had been soaked, Earth had been grown, air was enveloped in some sort of sphere and darkness had turned the wall into a dark unearthly substance.
"Wow...this place is amazing..." Inc blurted out, him thinking out loud.
"Yes, yes it is, to the outside world this is just an ordinary building, but to elementals and other beings it isn't." Mr Lucem replied as he opened two massive oak doors with the slight push of his finger. "Here we are...the hall of elements" Mr Lucem gestured to a grand hall; most of it was made with natural resources but that didn't make it any less magnificent. The walls were scattered with powerful and scenic pictures, the floor an ivory marble and the ceiling was made with different kinds of jewels and metals.
"Amazing place you have here..." Inc's mouth was unhinged and could not shut as he bluntly stared at the room he was in.
"Thank you, every so often I change the location of it to keep us safe, although we will be staying here for a while..." Mr Lucem turned towards a book laced with shimmering gold. "Now this is the Naturam Prophetiae..."
"What exactly does it have inside it?" Inc snapped back as he heard Mr Lucem's aged but clear voice.
"This holds the prophecies of future and past generations, has abilities that are still unknown and best of all the first prophecy..." Mr Lucem seemed to be in awe at the sight of the Naturam Prophetiae.
"What's the first prophecy?" Inc replied, almost too eager.
"Well it is the back bone of the book...telling us the whole timeline in history..." Mr Lucem began to read it. "Once in a time before civilisation there were five: one that could define the oceans and seas of their glory into a storm of terror; one that could burn down and awaken an inferno in milliseconds; one that could shatter the ground into nothing but pulp; one that could rip the Earth of all vegetation and life with one swirl of the hand and one that could turn anything into a dark matter. These elements combined were an unstoppable force although only using the gift they had been given, for good. One day the beholder of the gift of dark matter felt something deep inside crawl to the surface giving him dark thoughts of destruction and terror and most of all; EVIL. Once the other elementals found out, it was too late; havoc had already seeped into the unfortunate town.
History shall repeat itself...the one that holds all the crystals will fall but another will rise. When the Earth is plunged in darkness, light will prevail and save humanity.
The five that are one and the one that are five will fall. Another will rise and shed light on all that is dark."
"Wow I never knew of this could ever happen..." Inc said in awe.
"Welcome to your new world, Inc..."
