Chapter 7: Little Red Dress

ALLYS POV

After pizza we all headed back up to my room and talked about the most random things.

" So Ally what are we doing for your 18th?" Kayla asks curiously.

"Oh Ally I didn't know it was your birthday soon, when is it?" Luke asks surprised.

"It's in three days and Kayla I don't know yet, any ideas?" I reply smiling.

Everyone spills out ideas but one catches my eye the most.

"What about a nightclub?" Kayla asks grinning.

"Yeah sounds good."I agree happily.

"Nightclub it is then." Kayla replies smirking.

I look at the time to see its only 1pm.
I look at Kayla and I notice she's looking at the same thing. She smiles over at me and I nod in agreement.

"It's time to find an outfit!" Kayla shouts excitedly.

We both race down to the kitchen and I ask my dad if he can drop us down to the mall.

"Girls maybe since the boys are here , you could all walk to the mall instead?" My dad suggests.

"Oh yeah we'll do that instead" I reply excitedly.

As if on cue, the guys burst through the kitchen door, ready to go to the mall. I notice Grayson walking towards Kayla and wrapping his arm around her. She catches my stare and I wiggle my eyebrows cheekily as she blushes wildly.

I notice Luke coming over to do the same thing. I see Ethan standing on his own, giving us death glares.

"Come over here bud." Grayson laughs motioning Ethan to come over.

Ethan snakes under Grayson's arm and we all walk out the door like this. I feel Luke staring at me but I'm too afraid to return the look.

When we arrive at the mall , I notice Luke and I are way ahead of the group so I take this opportunity to get to know him better.

"So what's your story?" I ask catching Luke off guard.

"Uh- what?" Luke replies, pulling himself out of a daze.

"So what's your story? Like as in your background.. Who is Luke Korns?" I ask laughing.

In the space of ten minutes , Luke explains everything from his hometown to his favourite colour and everything in between.

"What about you?" Luke asks curiously.

"You'll just have to find out." I reply winking playfully.

After a while Kayla grabs me, bringing me into every clothes shop there , looking for the perfect outfit. We notice the guys looking at the sexy lingerie and we both shake our heads laughing.

Kayla stops in her tracks and stares at two dresses on a rack, one black and the other red, conveniently enough on sale. Kayla grabs the two and we run into a changing room with the boys waiting outside for us.

After two minutes, I manage to put on the dress and I walk out of my small changing room. I notice Kaylas already out with all the guys standing behind her. Kayla looks at me and smiles, impressed at the outfit she's chosen for me. I catch Luke looking at me up and down while biting his lip.

It felt as the whole world was going in slow motion and it was just us gazing into each others eyes.

"Red looks good on you" Luke smirks.
