ALLYS POV
As I step out of the shower and place my feet onto the cold tiles , a shiver runs through me , instantly waking me up.

Throwing on my outfit , which is a black off shoulder top with denim shorts and old school vans , I manage to make my hair cooperate with me fixing my hair into French plaits. I quickly apply some mascara and head back to the bedroom.

As I enter the room , an awkward but worrying aura hits me , Luke looks up at me confused.

"Luke , what's wrong?" I ask , looking puzzled at his worried expression.

"Um you got this text from Ethan" he says whilst handing me my phone.

"You looked through my phone?!" I exclaim at him annoyed.

"It kinda scared the crap outta me plus I thought it might be something important , though I never expected that" He responds coolly.

Tilting my head to the side , confused and annoyed , I unlock my phone quickly and open my messages app , it's from Ethan.

As I speed through Ethan's surprising confession , I gasp in shock.

"Do you like him ?" Luke asks sensing I've finished reading it.

No I don't , you're the one I need , I love you Luke.

But my thoughts didn't become verbal as I open my mouth in response , struggling to get words out.

He sighs,

"Well it doesn't take an idiot to figure out what that means , I'm going for a walk" He says as he grabs his coat and dashes out of the house, leaving me shocked and alone.

I collapse onto the bed , lost in thought and pop the question seriously to myself,

Do I have feelings for Ethan?

No I don't , what am I thinking ?! I just let the best thing that has ever happened to me in my entire life storm out of the room because my dumbass couldn't speak my goddamn mind , fuck I've really done it now.

I grab my phone and type a simple response to Ethan ,
{text message to : Ethan Dolan}

Ethan , I'm sorry I don't return those feelings for you , I'm happily in love with Luke and I wish you the best with finding love , don't worry about our friendship , we're good

After I tap send , I rush down the stairs and out the door ,

I need to find Luke.

LUKES POV

As I watched her open her mouth and struggle to respond , that was all it took to feel my heart break a little.

"Well it doesn't take an idiot to figure out what that means , I'm going for a walk" I tell Ally as I grab my coat and leave as quickly as I can.

As I step outside , the cold air hits me hard , winter is beginning to approach. I begin to walk without a specific location , my feet taking me away from the pain , with each move I make.

I start to think about the situation and anger begins to bubble up inside me, I'm going to go talk to Ethan and fucking give him a piece of my mind.

You can't take my happiness away from me that easily.
