Liam looked out of the window, trying to focus on the stars, but the yelling form his parents were hard to ignore. “For god’s sake Karen! The boy is 16; he’s properly just confused about himself! ” His dad yelled “Geoff he told us he has known for over a year now! How can you call that a confusion?!” Karen yelled back.
Liam sighted and with tears in his eyes he knelt at the window, folding his hands “Dear god, angel or anyone please listen to my prayers. I told mum and dad, but it doesn’t sound like they’re so happy about it… If only I had one in my life who accepted me for who I am, someone who’d hold me in his or hers arms through hard times telling me everything would be alright, someone who would protect me, just someone that I’ll be able to trust”
Liam crawled to bed and fell asleep, not knowing that his prayers had been heard since he was 14.
