ZOE'S P.O.V

"Tan, cover me I don't want him to see me, please!" I whispered loudly to Tanya who is now walking beside me.

"God, Zoe, he's gone! Besides, what are you so scared of? It's not like he's gonna kill you or something. Who is this guy anyway?"

He was my bestfriend. He was my bestfriend until I started to have a crush on him. He doesn't know that. But eventually he did. Things got rough, and now here I am, avoiding him. Avoiding Ethan.

To answer Tanya, I'm not scared of Ethan, I'm scared of meeting him. I'm scared of falling for him again, for the second time. I'm scared that he won't love me back. Again.

I wish he hadn't sent me those tweets. I wish he never even came into my life in the first place. He broke my heart. He broke my heart, and didn't even realize it. He broke my heart and I'm not gonna let him do that again.

It's dumb of me to just decide to run away from my past. But I literally just moved away with Alfie from Bath to Brighton just to get away from him. I felt tears running down my face. As if she can read my mind, Tan let out an oh and hug me as we stopped walking.

"Aw honey, I'm not gonna let that jerk hurt you. I promise. Just forget about him, let's go" she said, holding my hand. "You don't want these people staring at you crying right? Come on, let's go Zoe"

I kept sniffling as I wipe my tears off. "Okay" I said and looked up. My eyes caught a pair of beautiful familiar brown eyes. I was confused. That is before I realized it was him. It was Ethan.

My feet froze as he smiled and started to walk towards me. I let out a low Tan.. And she realized that Ethan had come back and he saw us.

"What do you want?" Tanya said coldly as I stared at her, amazed. Whoa, I don't know Tanya could be mean.

"I just wanna say hi to Miss Zoe Sugg here." He said with his thick American accent, smiling at us. I couldn't help it but smile back. Remember Zoe, you have a nice, loving, caring boyfriend. I kept reminding myself. He's not worth it.

"Uh.. Yeah, well um, she doesn't wanna talk to you!" She said nervously. I grinned, it must be the accent. Ethan is now staring at me expecting me to answer.

"That's okay Tan, we could talk. Just this once." I said. Nice, loving, caring boyfriend. I kept reminding myself. Tanya walked off to meet Jim.

"Zoe." He said

"Ethan."

"How have you been doing?" He asked me. "I heard you've been doing very well. With your youtube channel, being famous and all."

"Yes. things has been going on pretty well lately." I answered confidently.

We're silent for a while. That is until--

"Why did you send me those tweets?" I blurted out.

"What? Can't a guy just simply tell the truth about his feelings?" He said, smirking.

"Why are you here, Ethan?" I asked, genuinely confused.

"Why, to meet my absolute favorite youtuber, miss Zoe Sugg, of course!" He laughed. "You don't believe me? You don't believe what I said on twitter?"
