Chapter 4- What now?

"Yes Jake" I said in an annoyed manner but deep down I was very excited and charmed that he actually remembered I exist.

I don't really know what he saw in me but it's not every day that a guy this hot not to mention the captain of the football team is not only talking to me but he is also ignoring the head cheerleader
I hate to admit this but the bitch is really pretty with a smoking body to talk to me . is it my lucky day? This is probably the best first day in the history of first days.

" so jem, you never gave me your number" he said whilst taking a seat next to me and sure enough, everyone is watching the scene that is currently happening including Miss. Bitch who is currently shooting death glares at me. Bitch please.

"What" Jake said in a very surprised and shocked voice

" omg sorry about that I was thinking out loud about something else not you. I am sooo sorry" I said putting on my puppy dog eyes whilst kacy and Brandon are laughing away at the movie they are currently watching with their imaginary popcorn.

"It's OK jem" he said giving me a reassuring smile "but only if you give me your number"

"OK. But why do you want my number so badly?" I asked shooting him a very curious and suspicious glare when he replied
" because you are not like other girls and I want to get to know you better" he said which made my cheeks look like they were going to explode but I quickly hide it with my hands not wanting to seem like a lost puppy.

"OK jake" I said whilst he gave me his phone to type it in and I do the same.

"Nice pic. Really cute dog" I said whilst looking at his phone wallpaper. " you never strike me as a dog lover"
" I'm many things jem" but seriously who is this guy? One time his is an egotistical bastard that I would like to put his head on a stick then the other time he is this cute , loving and very open person that you just can't get enough of. Ah! God, help me through these hard times.

Jake's POV
I walked into my first class like I owned the place and of course all eyes were on me but I saw this one girl at the back of the class who was really cute and she looked different from all the other girls in this school. She had long brown hair that looked really good on her even tho it wasn't that stylish. I got to get to know this girl because the feelings that I'm getting is not what I expected from just looking at her. I went to the front of the class chatting with my friends and catching up on things that we missed over the summer when Miss. Fries walked in. She stood right in front of me and she sent me to sit next to the new girl at the back of class yes. "Hi. I'm Jake and you are?..." I asked here in a very polite way. She looked at me like she just saw a ghost or something then she said "mama" in a chicken voice, which I thought was very adorable by the way wait what? Adorable? Snap out of it Jake. "Mama, that's a very interesting name" I said after she didn't say anything after not wanting to give up any opportunity I get to know her better. "Hey that's not my name" she said. Surprised at her sudden outburst, I said " she speaks" "no shit Sherlock" she spat back she's a fiesty one, isn't she? "Ah that's rude" I said in a bitchy tone whilst holding my heart. When she was going to reply, Miss. Fries out of nowhere says that we need to be quiet and she started the lesson. Not wanting her to lose interest in me, I continued to trouble her throughout the entire lesson she has the most beautiful, heartwarming smile. Wait, what now? This is so not me I got to stop. But I can't........ The lesson was finally over and I started to get my things when I looked over to where she was sitting, I saw no one so I packed my things quickly and ran out of the class to find her and kacy walking in the hall. I ran up and held her by the shoulder so she can stop so we can talk. "The f**k" she said in a surprised manner " hey mama" i said to tease her "once again that's not my name" she said in gritted teeth. I ignored her response and continued to ask her questions "so are you new? Because I've never seen you here before" "I am. BTW my name is Jemima but people being my mom calls me jemi" wow that's an unusual name buy it suit her
" can I call you jem. Because you ate as beaitiful as a jem" the f**k beautiful as a jem? Shit .... "Sure why not?" She said in a reassuring way which lifted a weight of my shoulders because I sounded like a complete idiot " nice pic up lines by the way" she said giving me her award winning smile. Kacy told jem that she was leaving to go see here boyfriend. Jema and I continued to walk to our next class and everyone was looking at her I told you she was beautiful or its probably because I'm with her? Well I am the captain of the football team and a very handsome young man if I do say so myself. Then out of no where, my ex Monica came and give me a nasty kiss in front of jem and she walked away. I pushed her off of me when I realized that jem wasn't there anymore. " what's wrong babe" she said while playing with my hair I hate it when people touch my hair "what's wrong with you bitch? We are not together" I said while running over to her. We had a little argument and I asked her for her number but she just said no and told me off while walking away. That bitch Monica. She will pay.

Jemi's POV
School over and my mom was waiting for me outside. We made an agreement that she would drop and pick me up from school only on the first day then I was going to take my car to school from then onwards. I walked over to where my mom's car was when I heard kacy yell goodbye whilst waving at me then I saw Jake running towards me or so I thought "hi ms.Stuart" he said in a very sweet voice the f**k. How did he know my mom. "Hey Jake I told you not to call me that" my mom said in a stern voice while pointing her finger at him. "Hey jem. What are you doing here?" " I'm going home ........ With my mom" Jake almost threw up when reality hit him "sh. She is our mom?" "Yea. And may I ask, how do the two of you know each other?" I said lookin at both of them sternly but in surprise "let me reintroduce myself. Hi I'm jake, the son if your mother's boss who happens to be the new manager of my dad's company. Nice to meet you" he said politely whilst gesturing a hand shake. " do you two know each other?" My mom said also shocked at what was going on in front of her "I met him today on English class and we have to go home" I said whilst hoppinbinihhe car and closing the door. "OK. It was nice seeing you again ms.Stuart, jem . safe drive home. I'll see you at school tomorrow" he said while giving us a genuine smile and then walked away. I smiled back at him then gave my mom the OK to drive. That the as truly the best first day ever.
