Chapter 5- our friendship so far

2 weeks after the first day.
Hey j I'll be over in the next 10 minutes.
Kacy texted me. We were having a sleepover for the first time. We have gotten really close over the past 2 weeks and it was very reassuring to have a friend to lean on.

I replied back. I was about to go freshen up quick when my phone rang. Who the heck could that be at this time of day? "Jake? What does he want now" I said in a surprised and frustrated manner we were on good terms and starting to get really close but of course, there was some interference done by none other that miss. Bitch. I answered the phone "hey jem. Do you miss me" he said in a sexy voice that sent shivers down my spine "no I don't a d why are you calling me at this time of the day? Don't you have football practice?" I spat back at him "is it a crime to want to hear your voice?" he spat back at me surprisingly "no it isn't. Hey I'm sorry I'm acting like a Monica lol" "is it that time of the month?" He said laughing "no it isn't" i said shocked at his question. Why do guys always suspect you're on your period when you're moody? It's irritating. " anyway, the other reason i called was to invite you and your mom to my dad's party on Sunday which is tomorrow your mom probably knows already but it's a formal event and you are my date" no shit. Is he asking me out? Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujahhhhhhh
"Jem! Are you still there?" He said in a worried voice " yes Jake, I'm still here and are you seriously asking me to go out with you?" "Of course I am. Who else would I ask?" He said in his sexy voice. O my mother f***ing god. "I don't know, but there are hundreds of girl in our school that are way prettier than I am why choose me?" " hey I got to go but when you come tomorrow I will tell you my reason. Bye jem" then he hung up. I stood there shocked at the news I just got but I was very very happy inside.

The door bell rang and brought me out of my trance that I was currently in. "Mom, can you get the door?" I shouted while popping my head slightly out my door then rushed to change my clothes. Since it was already getting dark, I put on my rose shorts and a black tank top. I ran down stairs to kacy then topld my mom we're going to my room if she needed us. We walked up the stairs and I shut the door behind us. Excited I shouted out "guess what?" "What" kacy said mirroring my enthusiasm "Jake asked me to go to his dad's party with him. Its like a ball" "omg is this for real ?" Kacy said shocked as I was when I heard the news " so are you going?" She continued " idk?" I said confused "you have to go because the last time I checked, Jake Andrews doesn't take anyone on a date" " how do you know all of these things about him anyway?" I asked ignoring what she just said "I'm his cousin" "you're his what? Why didn't you tell me? Are you going tomorrow? Are you taking Brandon? Pls tell me this is just a dream but although it would be really nice to have company" I said whilst reality hit me and I stopped over reacting. "I am going and yes is the answer to all the other questions" i breathed a sigh of relief after I heard the good news "omg that's great. Sooo, what will we do tonight?" I said when my phone rang. Kacy watched me in a confused way who would call me at 9 at night? To relief all the worry, it was Jake "hey jem can I come over ? I wanna talk to you in person and also I want to see that beautiful smile" he said in his sexy voice why do you do this to me? "That would have to depend on whether or not I want to see you" i said whilst walking into my bathroom leaving kacy on my bed playing with Caz "of course you wanna see me because I'm outside. Come downstairs and invite me in like a borml person" the f**k "u are a pain in my ass" I said whilst going down to the door "if you stick around Long enough, I would show and demonstrate a real pain in your ass" he said in a sheepish and man whore manner "jake" I said in an annoyed manner whilst opening the door but my body wasn't on my side in the matter because I was blushin to fury "yes jem" he said whilst smiling like a lite boy just got free candy " you are a pervert" "why that's a hurtful thing to say " he said in his bitchy couce whilst holding his heart to put emphasis on his character that ge is trying to play  "just shut up and come in before I shut the door in your face then you'll know what's hurtful" I spat back at him closing the door behind him.  "Jemi! Who's at the door?" My mom yelled from her office "it's Jake Andrews mom. We have an assignment to do so we will be in my room if you need us" i yelled back " keep it 3g 13" she told us while we both laugh and then I held his hand which by the way felt so perfect in mine because it was bigger and lead him to my room which currently had kacy in it. I pushed open the door to find kacy playing with Caz when she said " did you two love birds forget that I am in here? so get another room." "Hey kacy nice to see you too" Jake said sarcastically " sooo are you guys a thing " " kacy stop it!" I said obviously embarrassed but Jake gript harder on my hands for some strange reason but it made me feel very comfortable and at ease "we will be " he said while looking at me in the eyes and giving me a geniuine smile which sent butterflies erupting in my stomach did he really mean that? is he high on air ? He probay is because there  is no logical way that Jake Mathias Andrews wants to be my boyfriend "oooh Jake and jemi sitting in a tree k i s s i n g" kacy sang in a very mocking and childish voice whilst she got up and walked downstairs to go watch tv and get something to eat so much for girls time and sleepover "Ok kace good bye now" Jake said whilst pushing her out the room and locking it. I went to sit on my bed waiting for jake and I to talk. What could be so important for him to drive all the way here to talk about? "Sooooooo "
