MIZUKI (6)
After classes, I made my way to my locker to store my books in. Turning the combination, I twisted the handle and my eyes landed on something peculiar. Sitting in the middle, inside the locker, was a piece of old parchment folded. Finding it odd, I unfolded the piece of parchment, in my curiosity to find what was written inside it. A single word was scrawled across it.
“Soon”
Turning the parchment over, I checked for a name or any other information, however I found nothing. This is strange. ‘Soon’ what? The note was written in fancy calligraphy, in matt-black ink. Why would anyone want to send me this? Nothing seemed to ring a bell in my mind, so I chucked the piece of parchment back into my locker, like it was trash. Neatly, placing my books in my locker, I closed it shut and made my way to my dormitory.

“So, what was wrong with you, this morning, with Dai?,” I questioned Saika, when I found her inside our dorm. Startled, she turned around to find me walk in, her icy, blue eyes wide.
“Nothing,” she replied, slightly uneasy.
“You should apologize; you hurt his feelings.”
“Why should I?,” her voice turned cold and angry. “He hurt my feelings too, pretending I wasn’t even there.”
“Saika, we were only joking! You know that. Besides, I like Akemi and Dai knows that.”
“It isn’t you that I’m mad at. It’s Dai! He’s such a…um a…a Shitbrick!.”
“I’m glad someone agrees with me on that,” I laughed. “He’s not as innocent and sweet as everyone thinks!” Dai is my best guy friend; I have known him since I was young. Everyone in school thinks he’s a sweet and innocent guy but everyone in our group knows that he is really evil. He shares Kaeda’s intentions to humiliate people.
Two years ago, Kaeda made the guys bet that they couldn’t spend one week alone, without the girls to look after them and help them. Dai helped her win the bet by sabotaging the guys plans. The guys had to dress up like girls for a week and Jinsei kept flirting with Yuri and never left his side. It was hilarious but I did feel a little sorry for them all.
“He gets me so frustrated! I swear I will kick him in the balls and break his teeth like I did to Rio last year, when he insulted me,” joked Saika, as we strolled towards Café Mocha.
“Good luck with that.” Noticing our group, we settled into our chairs and joined them. Most of the guys were here. They had all promised us free ice-cream to celebrate our first day back at Tokyo Boarding High.
Instantly, my heart fell when I found no sign of Akemi, yet again. Getting my phone out, I checked to see if he had called me or left me any messages. Usually, he does that. He calls me at night, just to speak with me because he knows I don’t sleep till really late at night. We spend ages talking and it makes my heart swell with love for him when he does these little things just to please me. It’s brings a smile to my face and it makes me feel loved. Although, we act more then friends, I know his feelings for me are nothing more then ones of friendship.
Excluding myself from my friends, I called Akemi one more time. Unfortunely, his phone was switched off. Sighing, I joined my friends again and started a conversation with Ikuto.
Soubi, Yuri and Dai joined us. Yuri took a seat besides Ayu, after placing a kiss on her cheek, which instantly made her flush at the contact. Soubi settled next to Kaeda and Dai between Saika and myself.
