We had become friends now,

And we used to talk a lot.

She said she needed true friends,

So I tried to fill the spot.

I could not stand the sight of her,

Talking to other boys.

I'd controlled myself, thank god for that,

Or they'd be broken like plastic toys.

Got her number, we started chatting,

And my phone bills rose a lot.

But I never minded that fact because

I was doing something that others did not.

"That's it!" I said to myself on an eve.

I will tell her everything the very next day.

I just hope, the answer is what I want to hear,

And I spent that night thinking what all to say.
