Chapter 3

Molly got half way down the road and realised that she had no place to go. She would walk to the train station, but what then ?  She figured that she could take the train into the city, stay the night in a hotel, Maybe look for a job, but that was just an idea. The truth was, she didn't know what she was doing . By the time she reached the train station it was  four o'clock . She nearly missed the last train to the city. When she was on the train, she found a hotel online and booked it for two nights and started writing applications for jobs in that part of the city . When the train stopped, she already had two interviews for the next day. However for tonight she just wanted a nice bath, then a good nights sleep . The next morning, she woke up early to go shopping for clothes for her interview. She finally finished getting ready and she had twenty minutes before her interview so she set of . The first interview was at a retail store, she got there just on time. She got sent to a room were she sat down and waited on someone to come and interview her . When someone finally came, it was a man about 5ft 8, with more tattoos than skin,no hair and dark eyes. As he walked in, she felt her necklace heat up and when she looked down it was glowing bright red . She could feel the hairs on her neck stand up. She had to make up an excuse and fast . She pretended that her phone buzzed and she read her fake text, then said, "  I am so sorry but I have to go! My mother has been in a car crash! I have to go!I'm so sorry! ". She then ran as fast as she could,  until she found a cafe. Molly took her phone out of her pocket and called her brother. He answered and said, "hello Molly ".  "Listen jake, I need you to put mum on the phone". "But I thought you said". "I know what I said, but you need you to do this for me". "Ok hang on". "Hello Molly where are you?". "Mum I know you have a lot of questions, but first I have one really important one. What does it mean when the necklace glows red? " "........." "Mum please I need to know !". "Fine, I'll tell you, but not over the phone. Where can I meet you?". "How about at the park, near that bakery in town, in three hours?". "Ok, I will see you there. Until then be careful Molly! "and at that she hung up . Molly still had her next interview and when she looked at the time, it was in five minutes. So she ran once again, until she reached the club, where she had the interview to be a waitress. As she walked in, she noticed a man behind the bar,with dark hair, brown eyes and olive skin. Molly felt like her heart skipped a beat and as she walked by him, her necklace glowed purple. Molly had no idea what that meant, but she knew she had to do this interview. So she ignored the necklace and walked into the room, where she sat down . Ten minutes later , she walked out confident she had got the job. Molly had just enough time to go for some food, before she had to get the train out of the city and into the town to see her mother . So that's exactly what she did. On the train, she could not get that boy out her head. Why did her heart skip a beat? , why did the necklace glow purple?. All these questions running through her head . When the train stopped, she got off. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the park, but she didn't mind it. She liked to walk, it was therapeutic for her.    It cleared her head. Molly reached the park. She saw her mum sitting on a swing, she was looking around until she saw Molly and focused. Molly walked to her mother, not exited at all , but you Could see her mother was. She said to Molly, "it's so good to see you, wont you please come home?".  "Skip it mum. You know what I want to know, but first, what does it mean when the necklace glows purple?". "Molly, I have no idea what that means. I haven't even heard of that". "Ok then, what does it mean when it glows red?". "You won't believe me if I tell you". "Try me". "It means that person is a vampire!". "You're right, I don't believe you". "Molly it's true. If that necklace glows red, it means that the person you are near is a vampire ".
