Chapter 32: Here it is! The Chuunin Exams, Part One

Chapter 32:
Yakunan's POV

The first thing I noticed in the room was how tense it was. People were glaring at other people, some of them were sitting down fiddling with anything they could get their hands on. A few of them were sleeping because they were so tired and anxious. Everybody had different headbands on their foreheads or on their arms, or around their waist, or on their necks, etc. Each headband had a different color and symbol. Some had the leaf symbol, others not so much.

Then in this glorious crowd of depression was us. We -- or at least they -- were the loud obnoxious group in the back that were talking loudly and laughing. I backed away to the farthest corner from them and acted like I had never seen them in ny life.

"Hey, who's the chick?" A brown haired one said. He was wearing a heavy jacket and had a dog on his head, much like I would go on Kakashi's.

"Hm? Oh that's Yakunan, my girlfriend," Naruto said, emphasizing the 'girlfriend' part.

"Woah! You got a girlfriend Naruto! Way to go!!" The Dog-boy said, slapping him on the back.

"Shut it Kiba!!" Sakura yelled at him, punching him in the head. "She doesn't understand the concept of boyfriend and girlfriend."

"Wait, what?" The blonde next to her said. "How do you not know what a boyfriend and girlfriend is?"

"I do know what that is," I retorted. "A boy friend is a boy that's your friend and a girl friend is a girl that's your friend. It's self-explanatory."

"No, no, no," Sakura said, shaking her head. "A boyfriend and girlfriend are a couple of only two people, that are dating."

"What's dating?" I asked.

"Dating is when a couple are boyfriend and girlfriend," the blonde explained. "While a couple are dating, they go out on activities and have fun. Such as going to eat ramen or to a library or even to see a movie. Usually, couples exchange kisses during these events or after the events to signify their love for the other."

"Oh... Okay..." I said nodding my head. That's a lot of information to take in...

"So... Does that mean we're not a couple anymore, Ya-chan?" Naruto asked, kind of timidly.

"Well, according to the new information that I got, you need to kiss the other to be a couple, Naru-kun, so..." I turned to him and quickly kissed his cheek.

His face heated up and became the color a bit like my hair. "Even if I'm not technically dating you, you'll always be my boyfriend, Naru-kun~."

A boy behind me sighed. "You women are so complicated..." A boy said in a bored voice. I turned around to see a boy with his hands in his pockets looking at me and leaning against the wall. Hm, he reminds me of Sasuke...

"What's up, Shikamaru?" Naruto asked with a friendly wave.

"Nothin'. What's all this commotion about anyways?" He asked.

"We were explaining the concept of dating to Yakunan-san," Sakura said, pointing to me. Only thing was that I wasn't there anymore.

I was standing next to a tall guy who introduced himself as Shino. He was watching a bug crawl on the walls and I was playing with a beetle on my finger.

"He really likes you," Shino said. His voice was dark but his words contradicted it by sounding kind. It was weird. "He says that you have interesting chakra too. There are Three.. No four chakra signals coming off of you, one being your own, which is huge at that, and the other two being extremely ginormous. They aren't yours. One is very light and happy, but has specks of darkness in it. The other is very dark and evil, but not too evil because it has specks of light in it that keeps it from going on rampages. Then there's one suppressed one. It's almost non-existent..."
