I opened my eyes and looked at my surroundings. I'm in a tent, in the tent sitting at my side is Angela. She is now wearing a snow parka and what looks like warm jeans. She looks like she just took a bath with a newly washed hair and face. Her eyes widened when she saw I was awake. " Amara!!!!!!!!" she shouted crushing me in a hug. " Owww" i groan. " Sorry!"she said. I finally realized what I was wearing. I basically had on the same things Angela had on, except it looked better on me. LOL! "Angela?" I asked sitting up"Where are we?" " In a tent" I rolled my eyes. " Well obviously, I mean where are we ,are we" "Oh ,I think we are in some eternal maiden's camp , at least that's what I've been told" Angela said. "Told? Told by whom?" I asked.
Then a girl entered the tent. She had on a parka and jeans, hmm that seems like the official dress code around here... A silver circlet adorned her head. She had black spiky hair, electric blue eyes, like mine and a straight face that said'If you mess with me ,I'll mess you up'. " Amara Heart?" she asked. " I am she" I say stupidly. " So, you're the famous Daughter of the Wild" she said. " What?" I say . Daughter of the Wild? My father is an outdoor person, But it's not like he's the actual Wild. And my mother......... well i never knew my mom."Nothing, but i just wanted you to know that we'll take you some where safe for your kind."
My kind? It's not like i'm an alien or anything. Just because I have ADHD and Dyslexia? Suddenly i have my own kind. Not cool. " What do you mean our kind and some where safe? "Angela said before i could say it in a less nice way. " I'm sure you'll find out soon enough" She said. "Who are you anyway?" i asked. She doesn't seem to detect my hint of rudeness. " Thalia Grace, Daughter of Zeus"she replied dismissively. Zeus? Isn't he a Greek god? Y'know what? Not even gonna ask.
"Come on out and we'll be on our way" Thalia said exiting the tent. " Well that was weird" Angela said."Where do think they're taking us?" "I don't know bu-" Angela clamped her hand over my mouth."Oh no, the last time you said that you almost got killed!" " Relax, Angela i won't do anything stupid" I reply. Me and Angela climb out of the tent. About 80 women were standing around, talking practicing archery and bathing in the hot spring 20 ft away. " Hunters !!!" Thalia shouted " We are going to escort these two halfbloods safely to Half blood hill, clear?" " Crystal!" The hunters echo back.
" Okay then in about five minutes we leave, so be ready!"Thalia yells. 5 minutes later, They're all ready and in some sort of formation. Then we're walking through the dark woods. And all i'm wondering is' Can we trust them?
