Love ya ( Nico di Angelo love story)

Quest?

I was in the woods, in that clearing I've learned to love. I looked anywhere for a target. My eyes settled on a leaf about to fall from the towering tree. It was an impossible shot but I didn't care. It was something to get my mind off..... the prophecy. I stare at the leaf, drawing my bow. My heart was pounding and everything started to happen in slow motion. It hit it's target. But it nearly missed another. " Di Angelo!" I say too irritated to joke. "What are you thinking, I could have killed you!" " Aww, Heart I'm touched truly, but save your breath." He winked at me, mockingly. "Ugh!" I shout exasperated. Sitting against an oak tree, in a huff. " What's wrong, Heart?" He asks sitting beside me.

" It's just.."I start." Back in the meeting, they didn't clear up anything else about, the last line,  and, and everything, this fight will end in agony, I don't want to put.." My voice broke. "You don't want to put anyone else in danger." Nico finished for me. "Yeah." I whispered. Unexpectedly, Nico put his arms around my waist and pulled me into his chest, putting his chin on my head. And I didn't stop him. Why didn't I stop him?! He spoke softly into my hair." Heart, you may not know this but, we're heroes, We are gonna get hurt sometimes, It's not your fault, OK? It's not your fault..." We lay there silent and thoughtfully. "Why are you letting me do this, Heart?" "I don't know." I replied drowsily, before falling asleep in his arms. 

I woke up in my cabin, still wearing my hunting clothes. I yawn and grab my toiletries heading to the showers. I meet Angela  there. "Hey, Amara!" Wow, she was in a good mood, and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with William Solace." Hey." I say drying my hair and skin. "Are you still bummed about the quest?" "How could I not be?" I exclaim getting dressed into my camouflage outfit with combat boots. I plait my hair into two braids. "Well, let's change the subject, what's happening between you and Nico?" "What?! Nothing!"I exclaim. "MMHMM!"She replies wiggling her eyebrows. "Shut up Angela!" I shout at her giggling.

I  headed back to my cabin and logged on to my computer. Trying to find anything about the quest. A soft knock sounded on my door. It was Annabeth. "How can I help you? " I say sounding like a cashier woman.  Annabeth plunked down on my bed, uninvited I might add. "Chiron says to begin your packing." "For what?" I ask. " For  your quest." she says leaping out of my bed. " It begins tomorrow, hope your prepared."

The next morning I was totally freaking out, trying to get all my stuff together, double check I have everything, then head down to Half-Blood Hill. Down waiting by cab was Will, Angela, And Nico. " Could you have taken any  longer?"  He growls getting in the car. I glance at the others like' What's up with him?'"Don't mind him ," Will replies." He's just cranky" "Yeah" said Angela, climbing into the back seat" Kinda like  someone I know." " Oh, shut up!" I shouted slapping her arm.

The trip hasn't even begun, but I know it's going to be a long one.
