»"tell me get my shit together and think it through..."
Los Angeles, CA;
"Hi, I'm Paris."
"Yea... I know. I have four kids with you." Bryson squinted his eyes at her as he sat on her couch, watching tv.
"What's your name?" She asked. She took the remote out of his hand and turned the television off.
"Paris, what the hell are you doing?"
"Introducing myself, I'm Paris, what's your name?" She repeated.
He sighed deeply, "I'm Bryson."
"What's your last name?"
"Check your marriage license." Bryson replied with a laugh.
"Bryson!" She whined, "I'm trying to start over. Start fresh."
"You gone start from all the way back there?"
"We were friends, then friends with benefits, and then husband and wife, Bryson. There was no dating. So maybe we should just start all the over."
"That's my fault." He chuckled.
"Yes, it is." She agreed, "Because I wasn't going to say no to you. But we can do it right, now."
"So what do we need to do, baby?" He turned slightly on the couch, facing her.
"I don't know, just start over. I want us to work..." She sighed.
"Me too." He said, kissing her lips.
"Don't do that, not with kids around. I don't want to confuse them, so don't do anything weird, like call me baby in front of them." She instructed.
"But you're my baby..." He groaned, grabbing her waist.
"Bryson, I'm serious."
"Ok, ok. So what does this starting over consist off?"
"Well, tell me about yourself." Paris said, smiling at him.
He shook his head, "My name is Bryson Tiller.... I sing."
"Ooh, cool. Professionally or just for fun?"
"Paris."
"Bryson."
"Ugh, professionally. That's my career. I get paid to sing. I have Grammys and platinum albums."
"Any kids?" She asked with a shrug.
"No." He replied simply.
"I feel like you're lying...."
"I wonder why you feel that way." He said with a chuckle.
"Whatever, Bryson. Anyway, are you in a relationship?" She asked.
"It's complicated..." He shrugged.
"Why?" She tilted her head as if she was really clueless.
"We're separated, but I don't want to be anymore and I regret asking her to sign divorce papers."
