«"i'm tryna find a way around it..."

Micah apologized to Bryson and begged him to talk to Sierra. Bryson knew that he had  the best chance of being listened to and after a lot of contemplating, he decided to call Sierra.

"You can't keep the kids away from Micah. They don't deserve that." Bryson sighed. Sierra was stubborn. She almost reminded him of Paris.

"Bryson, why are you not mad at her? Your wife and my husband kissed each other and then lied. They both lied for a long time." She explained.

"What does being mad solve? It was a long time ago. They've both apologized. I just want to live my life with my wife. You should do the same with your husband, but if you can't, at least let the man see his kids."

The line was silent until Sierra started to laugh slightly, "You know what I think?"

"What's that?"

"That you're relieved..." She told him.

"What do you mean?" He asked, confused.

"I remember you called me screaming and yelling about how Micah and Paris had something going on. You were so upset, now that you know... You're calm? It's because you thought there was a whole lot more happening than just a kiss."

"What's your point, Sierra?"

"My point is, I'm not relieved. I get to be mad. I'm heartbroken, Bryson." She stressed.

"Listen, you might not ever be friends with Paris again, but if you love Micah, move on. Start a different chapter. He cried while talking to me. He cried to me of all people. He misses his family."

Sierra sighed and cleared her throat, "Fine."

"Volleyball game tonight at 6. Make sure you remember." Daphne smiled, grabbing her book bag and throwing it over her shoulder. Every since Paris and Bryson went to her game the first time, there'd been this huge smile on her face that they had never seen before.

Paris kissed her cheek, "We'll be there. Have a great day at school. Harley, when are you going to start playing a sport?"

"I do. It's call 'wait until your sister goes pro so you can be her agent.' I'm very good at it. You should see me out there." She bit into an apple. Paris shook her head and handed Harley her book bag.

"Go to school."

Caleb jogged down the stairs with Sky and Isaiah not too far behind him. Paris met Sky halfway and picked her up.

"I want to go with them!" Sky pouted, pointing at her siblings as they walked out of the front door to be driven to school.

"Soon you'll be going with Isaiah. But for
now, you get to stay with mommy and daddy a little longer and then I'll take you to daycare at 9." Paris explained.

Sky just sighed, "I want applesauce."

"Alrighty. Applesauce it is, baby girl." Paris said, walking into the kitchen and opening the refrigerator.

Bryson walked into the kitchen and plopped on a stool, "Hey, beautiful ladies."

"Hey, daddy." Sky said waving at him. He waved back before taking her out of Paris' arms.

"Sky, do you like babies?" He asked, causing Paris to close the refrigerator and let out a deep sigh.

"Yea." Sky replied.

"You do? Would you like to live with a baby?"

"Live with a baby?" She repeated, "Yea."

"You are a baby, Sky. Don't you like mommy and daddy giving you lots of love and hugs and kisses all the time?" Paris intervened.

"Yes!" She giggled.

"Well, how would you like a baby and to live somewhere kinda like were you and mommy took a trip to? Remember that?" Bryson asked.

"At-My!"

"What?" Bryson looked at her with a puzzled look.

"Akamai." Paris laughed.

"Yea, no thank you."

"Bryson, I was talking to Isaiah and he has two best friends, Derek and Carlie. What about the girls and Avery? Caleb and his friends? Our kids have a life here, baby." Paris said.

"And they can start a life somewhere else. We can always visit. They'll love it in Puerto Rico. I don't know, I did a concert in San Juan and it's been on my mind ever since." He explained.

Paris groaned, "We need to at least take a trip there first, Bryson."

"You can do what you want, as long as in June of next year, we're packing our bags..." He smiled.

"Bryson."

"Paris... I love you." He kissed her lips and ate some of Sky's applesauce.

"I feel like we should compromise. If I agree to move then—"

"Nope. I want another kid." He cut her off.

"But, why?!" She pouted, "You don't have to go through all of it, I do. I'm getting old, Bryson. The girls are 13 and eventually they're going to want to go out and have boyfriends. Don't you want to focus on that?"

"No going out and no boyfriends. Problem solved! And I still want a baby."

"Ugh!"
